The thematic and ideological underpinnings of the essays included in the volumes are drawn from three distinct yet interrelated domains of feminist thought, namely Women's Studies, Women's Writing and Feminist Studies. A common motif that runs through all three volumes is the impact of globalisation and the challenges of a market economy on relations of gender. An advanced bibliography on the area discussed is appended to each book.
Planned as a much-needed textbook for undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Gender Studies, this collection of essays by some of the most distinguished scholars in the field lends itself to rearrangement, ensuring the interdisciplinary nature of the discipline.

Samyukta Research Foundation (SRF), based at Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India, is engaged in research and publication in the emerging fields of arts, humanities and social sciences. SRF is organising a series of lectures on different aspects of academic publishing and indexing for young researchers and aspiring scholars.
Planned to be conducted lectures would discuss how to shape academic writing to comply with international standards. The resource person of the Series titled “The Will to Write, The Passion to Publish”, is Joseph Varghese Kureethara, Professor of Mathematics, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru.
Spread over seven months, the lectures are open to those who are interested in making their mark in the academic world. The first lecture of the Series is on Saturday, 18.03.2023 at 7.30 p.m. IST.
