Emergency Medicine Training for Casualty Medical Officers was conducted in KSIHFW from 5/10/2023 to 07/10/2023 under the guidance of SNO Trauma Care, SNO Disaster Management, and pioneers in the field. Beginning with Basic Life Support (BLS) techniques, CMOs learn immediate response skills. Efficient triaging in casualty setups ensures prioritized care. The training includes insights into hospital disaster management plans, preparing CMOs for effective response during crises. An overview of Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) equips them for diverse critical scenarios. Special emphasis is placed on the stabilization of Road Traffic Accident (RTA) cases, optimizing intervention time. Radiology's role in emergency care is explored to enhance diagnostic precision.
