๐Ÿšง Development Work Progress at Thangmeiband Hijam Leikai, Kumarjit Leirak.

After successfully completing the drainage system construction, work has now commenced on the road construction and development in the area.

The road development work will be taken up on priority and efforts will be made to complete the work within the shortest possible time. As the rainy season has already begun, continuous rainfall may affect the progress of construction activities.

The concerned team is making every effort to complete the work at the earliest and provide a better, safer and more convenient road for the local residents.

The sacred festival of Kanglen (Purna Yatra) marks the auspicious conclusion of Manipur's ten-day Kang (Rath Yatra) celebrations, symbolizing the ceremonial return of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, and Devi Subhadra.

Today, Hon'ble MLA Shri Kh. Joykisan Singh participated in the Kanglen (Purna Yatra) celebration at Thangmeiband Polem Leikai Phurailatpam Bamon, joining devotees in offering prayers and seeking the blessings of Lord Jagannath.

These moments reflect the deep devotion and vibrant spirit of the celebration as devotees participate in Kang Chingba, perform Sankirtana, and share the sacred Khechri Prasad. Kanglen remains a timeless symbol of Manipur's rich Vaishnavite heritage, unity, and cultural pride.

Following the request of residents of Thangmeiband Hijam Dewan Leikai, who had missed the sewage connection, Hon'ble MLA Shri Khumukcham Joykisan Singh promptly took up the matter with the concerned department to facilitate the extension of the sewage project to the locality.

Understanding the long-term benefits of proper sewage connectivity, the Hon'ble MLA has appealed to all residents of the constituency to contact him or his office if they have not yet received a sewage connection, especially before upcoming road construction works, so that necessary arrangements can be made in time and avoid future inconvenience.

Dr. Priyadarshini Arambam, Director of Gauri Kaul Foundation, along with her associates Ms. Mrinalini Thokchom and Ms. Sapna Gurumayum, visited the TAKDO Relief Camp and organized Counselling program above the used of Digital Medical equipments for the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs). The counselling program included blood pressure and blood sugar screenings using modern diagnostic equipments.

The team also generously donated essential medical equipment, including Digital Blood Pressure Devices, Digital Thermometers and Digital Blood Glucose Monitoring Devices to support the healthcare needs of the relief camp.

Hon'ble MLA Shri Kh. Joykisan Singh sincerely appreciates the noble initiative and heartfelt contribution of the Gauri Kaul Foundation team. Their compassionate service and generous donation of medical equipments will greatly benefit the displaced families. As health is the first priority of every human being, such humanitarian efforts play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of those in need.

Hon'ble MLA Shri Khumukcham Joykisan Singh inspected the newly constructed NYDC Club Building at Nagamapal Phougeishangbam Leikai.

During the inspection, the MLA highlighted the importance of community clubs in nurturing responsible, united, and drug-free youth while promoting peace, education, and social development. The ground floor has been designated as a kitchen for Iputhou Moirangpokpa, and the upper floor will serve as the club office.

The residents and members of NYDC Club expressed their heartfelt appreciation and happiness for the new community facility, which is expected to become a vibrant centre for youth and social welfare activities in the locality.

Inspecting the newly constructed school building of Bhairondan Maxwell Hindi School, Thangal Bazar, one of the oldest schools in the State, undertaken under the initiative of Hon'ble MLA Shri Khumukcham Joykisan Singh as a part of his commitment to strengthening the education sector.
