Hi All,
I would like to share my recent experience regarding one of my student __ better i keep her name secrete. Her driving batch ends yesterday. She is staying at Titawala working at Dadar and the classes at Thane. She use to come for 8pm to 8.30pm batch and running back for 9pm Titwala train if she missed she needs to wait half an hour on the station. She is staying far from the Titwala station. The auto only available up to Titwala Temple. After that she needs to go by walk. No lights on the road. It seems unfortunately no political party reached yet ahead the Titwala Temple.
When the ladies came to know that i am conducting driving classes the immediate reply i got is,
Actually i wanted to learn as i don’t even ride bicycle, but due to this busy schedule i can’t manage anything. Travelling, kids exam, Husbands job, In-laws, so many reasons.

I do understand as every woman needs to do all this things time to time. But we need to prioritise. In fact for ourselves we are not the priority. We are ready to spend time in Auto Q, bus Q but we don’t have time to be independent.
The reason behind telling this story is, my student was unable to take higher education as she started working in early age for the siblings.
Now the siblings have scooter and they didn’t allow her to touch the same. The first day of classes she was cried when she was telling me the reason why she is desperate to learn. And the last day also she cried the tears of joy as she did it!

She is married having 2 years daughter.
She shocked me on last day of training by telling that she is pregnant and she hides this thing from me coz i may refuse to teach her in such condition.
Once again the brave lady proved that once the women decide, she can do anything.
Hats off to her ---!!!
