Happy Children's Day....
Chinmaya Sishuvatika, Tattamangalam celebrated Children's Day to commemorate the birth anniversary of India's first Prime Minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. The innocence of the little tots was celebrated by dedicating a special day to them. The students had a lovely surprise to begin their day. The teachers welcomed the children with red roses. The celebrations began with a prayer. The teachers and children honoured Chacha Nehru and celebrated the love that he had for the children with a host of fun filled activities. The children delivered short speeches highlighting the importance of the day. The teachers also presented a variety of programmes like songs, dance and sports activities. The teachers made the day special and memorable by gifting the children with lovely and useful gifts. The children were also encouraged and motivated to love and help others. The eventful day was with the theme, "With love from teachers to students ".May the love and laughter always stay on every child 's face.

Be Calm, Be Cool.....
Encouraging consumption of water...
Drinking water is essential for healthy lifestyle. Children can become dehydrated easily.So it is important to ensure that they are drinking sufficient water. With this aim in mind Chinmaya Sishuvatika have arranged water period for the little tots. In this period all the children are assembled in the corridor with their water bottles. For an entertainment music will be played and the children enjoys and drinks water which ultimately helps in developing and improving readiness skills.

Fruits are lively.......be fruitful with them!!!!
Fruits Day Celebration.....
Chinmaya Sishuvatika celebrated Fruits Day on 5-11-2018 to highlight the importance of having fruits and how fruits help in keeping good health. Teachers used delightful ways of making kids understand the importance of having fruits in the regular diet . The children presented a variety of programmes like fruit songs, dance, speech and role play. Teachers demonstrated to the children about how to prepare fresh lemon juice along with mint and tulsi.The students were also explained about benefits of drinking fresh juice and the harmful effects of packed juices. Delicious fruit salad was prepared and served to the kids. The children imbibed the value of Sharing is Caring and were motivated to consume healthy food. It was indeed a fruitful day.

Honouring the Honourable!!!!!!
Grandparents Day......
Chinmaya Sishuvatika celebrated Grandparents Day on 3-11-2018 to honour the grandparents of the little kiddies. The main objective of the special day was to strengthen the unique bond between the kids and grandparents. It was an occasion to sensitise kids about the role of grandparents in one's life.
The guests of honour -The grandparents were welcomed with attractive and colourful palm cutouts of the children. The special day was filled with poem recitation, dance and music by the kids and grandparents .A photo corner was set up to treasure the memories of the day. As a special treat ,fun-filled games were arranged for the grandparents. Impression on teddies was another exciting moment of the day where in grandparents expressed the happiest moment with their grandchild. At the end, creative footprints of the kids were gifted to the grandparents to cherish the memories of the special day.

Becoming the best version of you....Congratulations!!!!

Palakkad women’s chapter of OISCA conducted seminar competition on ‘paithrika Smriti’ at hotel Gazala Palakkad on 31/10/18 in which Sadhika Sanil of Class IX of our Vidyalaya got second prize and Scroll of appreciation from the audience and judges. The Topic was ‘family as an institution’. Through out the seminar CVP was highlighted. Teachers from various Schools also presented seminar. Kamalambika Teacher of our vidyslaya also presented seminar on Kerala culture which was also highly appreciated by the Teacher representatives. Topteen prizes were distributed in which Ananya of Class 10 was awarded as the School topper certificate and medal. Akhilesh and Anjana of Class 9 got participation certificates for green parliament on the Topic beat plastic pollution.

A day in farm.......
Birdie day!!!!!!!!
Birdie day was celebrated in our Chinmaya Sishuvatika on 12-10-2018 (Friday) to take a few moments out of the day to appreciate the beauty and diversity of our feathered friends. The day was celebrated by organisation of field trip for the students. It was an opportunity for the little tots to take part in birdwatching. The day helped in educating the students about the importance of birds and nurturing the skills of caring , sharing and helping .The little tots enjoyed the day by learning about all the wonders of birds.

Mathru Devo Bhava
Mother's blessings are beyond everything in this world. In order to sow the parental respect in every child Mathrupooja was conducted on 13/10/18(saturday) under the guidance of our acharya H. H. swami Asheshanandaji. Children worshipped their mother's by performing pooja and took their blessings. This induced the feeling that one's own mother should be revered and looked upon as God.

An eventful day when vidyalaya witnessed the commencement of the Inter-House football matches amidst cheers and enthusiasm.There was an air of excitement and the determination to make it to the victory stands amongst all the students.Varidhi House won the match.

Creativity is putting your imagination to work!!!!
Vidyalaya highlighted the significance of Navarathri and how it is celebrated in different parts of the country through a presentation,It was a visual treat for the audience when the tiny tots presented the same in a unique manner. The programme started with an innvocation dance by the little ones followed by vidyalaya orchestra .

Let’s light a lamp in the memory of our freedom fighters!
In connection with Gandhi Jayanthi Celebration, Vidyalaya conducted an interhouse competition based on ---Enact a scene from an incident related to Gandhijis freedom fight. It was a visual treat for all the spectators,also it reminded the students about the struggle and sacrifice that they faced to make India Independent.

Vidyalya witnessed two important events ----Hindi and Malayalam Literary Club Inauguration on 1/10/18 and 3/10/18.The members of the clubs were introduced along with the logo release. The main aim of literary club in Vidyalya is to promote the creativity and imagination skill among students in language.It was reminded to the members to make use of all opportunities given to them during club activities.

Our school organized Cleanliness Drive under Swachh Bharat Swasth Bharat Abhiyaan Programme on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti. The main purpose of this programme was to create awareness among the students regarding Cleanliness and its benefit.Our students did the Swacch Bharath mission by cleaning our school premises after taking a pledge.Even the teachers were also a part of this mission.
