In the ongoing enrollment drive of Education Department,today a function was organized at KGBV Budipora Tangmarg in which ZEO Tangmarg was chief guest. Warden KGBV Budipora Tangmarg, Teaching Staff of KGBV and GMS Budipora were also present. Apart from these VEC members also attended the function. While speaking on the occasion ZEO Tangmarg impressed upon girl students to seek admissions in vidyalya and take benefits of all the facilities offered at the Vidyalya. He also assured students that efforts are on to make the vidyalya residential in April 2021. He also impressed upon VEC members to cooperate with the department in making vidyalya a model in the valley. Warden KGBV Budipora Tangmarg also spoke on the occasion and give a detailed presentation about the functioning of KGBV Budipora Tangmarg and the facilities that are being provided at the vidyalya. On the occasion books and stationery items were distributed among enrolled students of KGBV. It is pertinent to mention here that 16 girl students got themselves enrolled in KGBV Budipora Tangmarg while as 16 students were enrolled in GMS Budipora While presenting vote of thanks Warden KGBV Budipora Tangmarg expressed gratitude to ZEO Tangmarg, VEC members, teachers of KGBV,& GMS and students and parents for their participation in enrollment drive.

On the directions of Principal Secretary to J&K LG Shri Niteshwar Kumar IAS, Director School Education, Kashmir Mr Younis Ahmad Malik visited KGBV Budipora Tangmarg to assess the ongoing work of construction of school building and boundary wall. The director concerned reviewed the progress of work on both the projects. Taking note of slow progress of work on the School building of KGBV, the director concerned impressed upon the concerned construction agency to speed up the work on the project. He set a deadline of 2 months for project completion. The director also visited Government Middle School, Budipora and sanctioned a 3 classroom building, toilet block and fencing of GMS, Budipora. A number of delegations from local villages interacted with the director .
While interacting with Village Education Committee KGBV Budipora, the director assured them all the issues pertaining to KGBV Budipora will be addressed and resolved in due course of time. The director was accompanied by CEO Baramulla, ZEO Tangmarg besides officials from Civil works of Education Department.
