With hearts filled with pride, gratitude, and patriotism, St. Mary’s Convent School, Tanda joyfully commemorates the 80th Independence Day of our beloved nation, India. 🇮🇳✨

The celebration was a beautiful reflection of our nation’s journey, its rich heritage, and the enduring spirit of unity, courage, sacrifice, and hope that continues to inspire every generation.

We were honoured by the gracious presence and blessings of our esteemed Principal, Rev. Sr. Lea M.J., and Rev. Father Jose Mekkunnel, whose guidance and encouragement continue to inspire our school community to uphold the values of faith, knowledge, service, and love for our nation.

As we celebrate the freedom we cherish, may we also remember the countless sacrifices that made it possible and pledge ourselves to building a stronger, kinder, united and progressive India.

Creativity met sustainability at St. Mary Convent School, Tanda as students of Classes VI to IX enthusiastically participated in the “Junk to Genius” Competition held on 1st August 2026.

Using waste materials, our young innovators transformed ordinary items into extraordinary creations, showcasing imagination, craftsmanship, and a strong commitment to the values of Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. Every masterpiece reflected the message that creativity can make our world greener and better.

Confidence, grace, and charm lit up the stage as the young stars of Classes I to V participated in the Elegance Walk at St. Mary's Convent School, Tanda.

“Poetry is the rhythm of the heart expressed through words.”

St. Mary Convent School, Tanda, successfully organized an “Expression in Rhymes” Competition, providing a wonderful platform for students to showcase their confidence, creativity, and communication skills through expressive poetry recitation.

Our young participants captivated everyone with their expressive performances, meaningful recitations, and confident stage presence. The students were evaluated on confidence, pronunciation, expression, and creativity, making the event both inspiring and enriching.
