The journey of learning the qur’an isn’t always easy. some days, revision feels heavy, your mind struggles to retain what you memorized, and you wonder if you’re doing enough. but allah knows every effort you make, even the ones no one sees.

if allah has allowed you to begin this journey, don’t take it for granted. keep returning to his words, keep revising, and keep asking him to make the qur’an firm in your heart. the goal isn’t just to finish memorizing, but to grow closer to allah through every ayah.

may allah make us among those who carry the qur’an with sincerity, live by it, and never give up seeking his pleasure. aameen.

**From “I can’t read...” to “MashaAllah, listen to this fluency.”**❤️

This is what **4 months of consistency, patience, and sincere effort** can achieve.

When Umar first joined **Zulf Quran Academy** during Ramadan, he struggled to read the Quran fluently. He would stop at difficult words, lose his flow, and Tajweed, Madd, and Ghunnah were all areas that needed significant improvement.

Instead of rushing the process, we focused on building a strong foundation—one lesson at a time, one correction at a time, one improvement at a time.

**Today, Alhamdulillah, the transformation speaks for itself.**

✨ Smooth and confident fluency.
✨ No more struggling with difficult words.
✨ Beautiful improvement in Tajweed.
✨ Madd & Ghunnah applied with confidence.

This transformation didn’t happen overnight.

It is the result of **Allah’s blessing, a dedicated student, supportive parents, and months of consistent guidance and hard work.**

The video you’re watching is a **real Before vs After**—a reminder that with the right teacher, sincere effort, and patience, remarkable progress is possible.

As a teacher, nothing is more rewarding than witnessing a student grow from struggling with every line to reciting the Quran with confidence.

May Allah ﷻ bless Umar, keep him steadfast upon the Quran, increase him in knowledge, and make the Quran the light of his heart in this life and the Hereafter. Ameen. 🤲

**Every expert Quran reader was once a beginner. Never underestimate the power of consistency.**

This is a truly special moment for us.

This student, a 10-year-old from the UK, is one of the very first students of our academy and has been learning with us consistently for years. Today, during a live class, he surprised us by reciting a well-known and complex ayah completely from memory — even though it was never formally assigned or taught for memorization.

This is not by chance.

When children are taught with clarity, consistency, and a positive, engaging environment, they don’t just complete lessons — they build a genuine connection with the Qur’an. Over time, this connection develops into confidence, fluency, and natural retention.

Often, when children are taught with excessive strictness, they read out of responsibility and pressure. They complete their lesson, but without true engagement or long-term connection.

Our approach is different.

We focus on creating a balanced environment — where there is discipline, but also ease. Where students feel comfortable, motivated, and genuinely interested. They don’t feel forced to read; instead, they read with enthusiasm and willingness.

And this is a live example of that.

We are aware that there are slight breaks in breath and some Tajweed imperfections in the recitation. This is completely natural, as the student memorized it independently without direct teaching of this specific ayah.

For us, this moment is not about perfection — it reflects years of consistency, the right environment, and a growing love for the Qur’an.

This is the foundation we strive to build.

🔹"This testimonial is not just a video, it’s our pride."

🔹"Yeh video sirf ek testimonial nahi, yeh hamari shaan hai."

🔴"Why do I call this my pride? Let me share the story behind it."

This child lives in Singapore and started learning with me two years ago. He was very young at the time and had never studied at any madrasa before. His journey in Deen began right here — with me. He started from the very basics: ا، ب، ت، ث — everything from scratch.

Yes, I must admit, this is the one student who probably tests my patience the most! Every day, he needs extra convincing, I have to work hard to keep him engaged — but despite all that, I love him like my own.

And today, what a moment of joy it is to see that my child — who once began his very first lesson with me — now reading fluently on his own. Alhamdulillah, he has even memorized all the daily Duas.

I still remember how he used to say, “Maulana, I don’t want to read.” But with a little love and effort, when he finally sets his mind to study — Mashallah — the way he reads melts my heart.

May Allah grant my child even more progress and success in Deen. Ameen.
