On 2 May 2026, Government Middle School Nijloo organized a Nasha Mukt Abhiyan (Drug-Free Campaign) rally in the village Nijloo.
The rally aimed to raise awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse and to encourage a healthy, addiction-free lifestyle among students and the local community. Students, teachers, and other staff participated, carrying placards and raising slogans promoting a drug-free society.

Zonal Level Northern Science Drama Contest-2025

On 8th October 2025, a Zonal Level Northern Indian Science Drama Contest was held at BHSS Beerwah, where talented students from different institutions of Zone Beerwah participated and showcased their creativity through thought-provoking and science-based dramas. The event beautifully blended scientific understanding with artistic expression, making science more relatable and enjoyable through the medium of drama.

The event was further enlightened by the presence of the Zonal Education Planning Officer (ZEPO), whose encouragement added grace and motivation to the participants. The performances reflected students’ innovative ideas and deep understanding of scientific concepts.

Among the participants, Middle School Nijloo secured the first position for outstanding performance, which was highly appreciated by the jury members — Mr. Zameer Ahmad, Lecturer in Zoology, and Mr. Arshid Ahmad, Lecturer in Physics — who judged the event with fairness and transparency.

The Principal of BHSS Beerwah extended full logistic support for the smooth conduct of the contest, while Mr. Mushtaq Ahmad, a National Awardee, played a vital role in organizing and guiding the event, ensuring its success and fruitfulness.

One more achievement added today in the list. Today final match of Cluster level T10 windball cricket tournament was played between Middle department of HSS Utligam vs Ms Nijloo at Cricket Ground Otligam. After winning the toss HSS Utligam Choose bating first. HSS Utligam scored 98 runs in allotted 12 overs.MS Nijloo chased the target in 11.4 Overs. Many Many congratulations to my dear Students.We are so proud of you dear students!!!!!. You guys not only played well throughout the tournament but also showed well discipline.

One more feather in the crown of MS Nijloo,today our school has got 2nd. position in district level Science Drama Competition at DIET Beerwah Budgam for the Drama "Aakhiri Boond" under the theme of Global water Crisis.
