GDC Baramulla Clinches Inter-College Hockey Championship

Government Degree College (GDC) Baramulla has secured a historic victory by winning the prestigious Inter-College Hockey Tournament organized by the University of Kashmir. In the final match, GDC Baramulla registered a convincing 3–0 win against Government College of Physical Education (GCOPE) Ganderbal.
The team, under the dynamic captaincy of Balvinder Singh, showcased remarkable skill, discipline, and teamwork throughout the tournament. Their success was further strengthened by the able guidance of Dr. Tahir Ramzan Bhat, Head, Department of Physical Education, GDC Baramulla, whose leadership and mentorship played a pivotal role in this achievement.
Prof. Mohammad Shafi Lone, Principal GDC Baramulla, extended heartfelt congratulations to the team and appreciated their dedication, perseverance, and sporting spirit. He commended the Department of Physical Education & Sports for their efforts in nurturing talent and promoting sports culture in the institution.
