In a significant step towards promoting environmental sustainability, AL Zamaan Foundation organized a plantation drive at Government ITI Srinagar, Zainakote Campus.
The event was led by Managing Director Mr. Muntazir Owais and graced by Chief Guest Er. Khan Farooq Ahmed, Joint Director, Skill Development Department Kashmir, along with Guest of Honour Er. Mohammad Ashraf Wani, Principal (Senior Scale), ITI Srinagar.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Guest underscored the importance of institutional responsibility in fostering environmental consciousness and sustainable practices among the youth. The Guest of Honour emphasized the role of educational institutions in shaping environmentally responsible citizens through such practical initiatives.
The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from staff, students and youth volunteers, reflecting a strong collective commitment towards ecological preservation and community engagement.

Throughout his long and distinguished career, he has been known for his humility, sincerity and gentle demeanor. He discharged his duties with utmost efficiency, commitment and integrity, earning the respect and goodwill of colleagues and stakeholders alike.
