A grand superannuation party was organised at GHSS RAJBAGH SRINAGAR on 24/11/2025 in the honour of Mr. Parviaz Ahmad Mir Sr. Assistant. The Principal, GHSS Rajbagh Smt. Rajinder Kour paid a glorious tribute to the invaluable contributions of the superannuated official spanning more than 30 years. Mr. Zahoor Ahmad Ganei (vice principal), Mtr. Arijamand Wajahat (sr. lecturer), Mr. Shabir Ahmad Baba (ex- sr. lecturer) recalled their fun time with Mr. Parviaz Ahmad evoking merthful laughter of the audience. Mr. Parviaz Ahmad Mir thanked the principal and the staff of GHSS RAJBAGH for their love and best wishes for him. In the end, an emblem of love and respect was awarded to Mr. Parviaz Ahmad Mir & his family.

Today as on 12/11/2025, GGHSS Rajbagh Srinagar conducted an Enrollment Drive. The drive aims to encourage new admissions and provide an opportunity for students to join the school community. As part of the drive’s outreach, the Enrollment Drive team visited Aakash Institute and Physics Walla to connect with educational institutes and promote admissions.

On today 31/10/2025 GHSS, Rajbagh organized a rally/ Programme on vigilance Awareness week in collaboration with anti corruption bureau in which the staff and students of the school participated.
The main objectives of Vigilance Awareness Week are to promote probity and integrity in public life, create awareness about the negative effects of corruption, and encourage the public to participate in building a corruption-free society. It aims to foster a culture of transparency and accountability through various public engagement activities.

Key objectives
• Promote ethics and integrity: To strengthen ethical conduct and uphold values like honesty, truthfulness, and accountability in public and private sectors.
• Raise anti-corruption awareness: To highlight the harm caused by corruption and make citizens more aware of their rights and responsibilities in fighting it.
• Encourage citizen participation: To involve the public as stakeholders in the fight against corruption, recognizing it as a collective responsibility.
• Champion transparency and accountability: To create a greater understanding of the need for transparency and accountability in governance and public administration.
• Support preventive vigilance: To focus on proactive measures that help prevent corruption risks before they occur.
On Vigilance Awareness Week, our schools organized various activities like competitions, pledges, and educational sessions to promote integrity and anti-corruption values. Activities include essay writing, slogan contests, and poster-making, along with taking an integrity pledge and holding guest lectures or workshops on the ill-effects of corruption.

Today on October 28, 2025, Tuesday:
FOLK DANCE & ROLE PLAY event was held at GGHSS Rajbagh Srinagar, numerous government schools from Srinagar zone participated with great enthusiasm in the Folk Dance and Role Play competition, featuring students from 8th and 9th classes. The performances were outstanding, with each school showcasing their unique talents. The jury members evaluated the performances based on the given criteria and selected GHSS Rajbagh as the top-ranked school in both Folk Dance and Role Play categories.
After the performances, the audience, comprising teachers, students, and jury members, engaged with the participants by asking questions. I extend my congratulations to the Principal and teachers of the winning team, who prepared the students within a short time frame, for their success in the zonal Level Competition.
