Congratulations on Affiliation for Academic Session 2026–27
I am delighted to share that all private schools in Jammu & Kashmir have been granted affiliation by the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education for the academic session 2026–27, as well as for previous years.
This is a significant milestone for the entire education community. I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all schools, parents, and students on this remarkable achievement.
The credit for this accomplishment goes to the Hon’ble Minister of Education, Sakeena Itoo. I would like to personally express my sincere gratitude to her on behalf of the Jammu & Kashmir Unaided Private School Association (JKUPSA) for this tremendous contribution to the people of Jammu & Kashmir.
This step will undoubtedly strengthen the educational framework and provide stability and confidence to all stakeholders.

_Condolence Message_

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of our esteemed ex-student, Er. Mansha Nazir Shah, daughter of Nazir Ahmad Shah, resident of Badamwari, Hawal, Srinagar. She left for her heavenly abode on August 31, 2025, after a brief illness.

The Chairman, teaching and non-teaching staff, students, and members of Greenland Educational Institute extend their heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family during this difficult time. May the departed soul rest in eternal peace in Jannat-ul-Firdous. Ameen.

She was not only our ex-student but had also worked with us in the administration department. Her pious nature, hard work, and down-to-earth personality will always be remembered. Death, however, spares no one and takes everyone alike. Her departure has left a void in our hearts, and we are filled with deep sorrow and grief.

In a further gesture of sympathy, the Patron of Greenland School, accompanied by a team of respected intellectuals, personally visited Mr. Nazir Ahmad Shah to offer condolences on the passing of his young, educated, and pious daughter, Mansha Nazir Shah, and prayed for the eternal peace of her departed soul.

The Greenland School family is in deep shock and mourning as we bid a final farewell to our beloved Narinder Sir. His passing has left an unfillable void in our hearts, and we struggle to come to terms with the loss of a dedicated educator and sports teacher who touched countless lives.

With a career spanning over three decades, Narinder Sir played a pivotal role in shaping the school's sports program and inspiring generations of students. His passion, expertise, and commitment raised the school's sports standards, leaving an indelible mark on its legacy. His dedication and enthusiasm were contagious, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

As we gather to pay our last respects, the Greenland School community is united in grief. We remember Narinder Sir's kind heart, his unwavering support, and his ability to bring out the best in his students. His legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched, and his memory will continue to motivate future generations.

The funeral is a solemn occasion, as we come together to bid farewell to a man who gave his life to education and sports. We take comfort in the memories of his achievements, his passion, and his love for the school and its students. May these memories bring us strength and comfort in this difficult time.

As we say our final goodbyes, we pray that Narinder Sir's soul rests in peace. May his contributions to Greenland School forever be cherished, and may his memory continue to inspire us to strive for excellence. Rest in peace, Narinder Sir. You will be deeply missed, but your legacy will live on.
