Department of Youth Services & Sports Zone Kunzer Organizes Kho Kho and Volleyball Tournament for U/14 Girls. Under the supervision of Mr Gh Nabi Reshi (Overall incharge)

In a bid to promote sports and encourage young girls to engage in physical activities, the Department of Youth Services and Sports zone Kunzer organized a thrilling Kho Kho and Volleyball tournament exclusively for girls under the age of 14. The tournament, held at the Govt Middle School Takiya Batpora Kunzer, witnessed enthusiastic participation from different Schools of Govt as well as Private schools of zone kunzer .In which more then 600 students participated.
The event commenced with an opening ceremony that included a vibrant march past by the participating teams, showcasing their team spirit and determination. The chief guest, Mr. Rajinder singh (DYSSO BLA), inaugurated the tournament by lighting the ceremonial lamp.
The Kho Kho matches kicked off first, with teams demonstrating their agility, speed, and strategic maneuvers. The matches were held on two separate courts simultaneously, providing an exhilarating experience for both players and spectators. The young athletes showcased exceptional skills, di ation and love for the sport. The teams e exhibited remarkable teamwork, making every match a captivating battle.
Simultaneously, the volleyball tournament took place on the adjacent court. The girls showcased their athleticism, precision, and coordination in each game. The energy and enthusiasm in the atmosphere were infectious, with supporters cheering and motivating their favorite teams throughout the matches. The players displayed remarkable talent and determination, leaving the audience in awe of their skills.
The tournament continued over the course of two days, with each team competing fiercely for victory. The matches witnessed moments of great excitement, as players demonstrated their capabilities and competed at the highest level. The young athletes exhibited sportsmanship and fair play, creating a positive and competitive environment.
At the end of the tournament, a closing ceremony was held to honor the participants and acknowledge their efforts. Mr. Gh Hassan Hajam (Headmaster Ms Takiya Batapora congratulated all the teams for their exceptional performance and emphasized the importance of sports in fostering discipline, teamwork, and overall development.
The Department of YSS Zone Kunzer recognized the outstanding players and awarded trophies to the winners and runners-up in both Kho Kho and Volleyball. Additionally, individual awards were presented to athletes who displayed outstanding skills, including Best Player, Best Defender, and Most Promising Player.

The tournament concluded on a high note, leaving a lasting impression on the young athletes, coaches, and spectators. The event succeeded in promoting sports among young girls and fostering a spirit of healthy competition.
