It is notified for the information of all that GDC Sogam has only two Official Whatsapp groups namely GDC Sogam- Official and Al Anwar Library-GDC Sogam. The college administration is not responsible for the content/development/information shared in other groups which are unauthorisedly created and associated with GDC Sogam. The college has only one Official page namely Govt Degree College Sogam and the college is responsible only for the content shared by the Admin of the page and is not responsible for the comments/reactions posted against any information shared by the admin.

The college has not started any fund raising/financial assistance whatsoever for the injured students as they are being treated in the Government Hospitals and all expenses are managed by the government itself. Therefore all are requested not to donate funds or initiate any fund raising unless and until officially notified by the college administration. Any fund raising activity associated with GDC Sogam shall be treated illegal and necessary action under law shall be initiated against the persons involved.

*Important Message*

All the students/Alumini of this college are humbly requested to refrain from sharing photographs/videos of the accident victim students and delete the whatsapp status of injured students. The WhatsApp status with videos/photos of injured students is adding to the pain and grief of the injured students. This message is shared on the request of the injured students and therefore all are requested to delete WhatsApp status/photographs uploaded on social media immediately.
