WHAT IS A SUBJECT?
The Subject is the person, animal, or thing that does the action in a sentence.
👉 Example:
I left early.
Here, “I” is the Subject because I did the action of leaving early.
Quick Tip:
Ask yourself: “Who or what is doing the action?”
The answer is usually the Subject.
