Celebrated with Patriotic Fervour at The Daffodil School

The Daffodil School celebrated Independence Day with great enthusiasm, patriotic spirit and pride. Members of the school management graced the occasion as the Chief Guests. The school band warmly welcomed the dignitaries with an impressive salute and disciplined parade, creating an atmosphere of pride and celebration.

The programme commenced with the hoisting of the Indian Tricolour by the school management. Everyone stood with immense respect and pride as the National Anthem echoed across the campus. The sight of the fluttering Tricolour filled the hearts of students and staff with patriotism.

Students presented inspiring performances on various patriotic songs, showcasing their love and respect for the nation. Through their energetic performances, they beautifully expressed the values of unity, sacrifice and national responsibility. The students also highlighted the significance of Independence Day and reminded everyone that freedom is a precious legacy earned through the courage and sacrifices of our freedom fighters.

The celebration concluded with a renewed pledge to serve the nation with honesty, discipline and dedication.

Held at The Daffodil School*

A Student Leadership Council Meeting was organised at The Daffodil School, in the school auditorium, under the guidance of the Director Principal, Mr Ranjeet Kamboj. The meeting was specially organised to make student leaders aware of their duties, responsibilities and accountability.

Students holding important leadership positions, including Class Leaders, Study Monitors, Discipline Monitors and Cleanliness Monitors, from all classes participated in the meeting. Mr Ranjeet Kamboj interacted with the students and explained their roles in a simple and effective manner.

He told the Class Leaders to maintain good communication between teachers and students and to set a positive example for their classmates. Study Monitors were encouraged to support their classmates in maintaining a positive learning environment and developing good study habits. Discipline Monitors were given the responsibility of promoting discipline, punctuality and respectful behaviour among students. Cleanliness Monitors were guided to keep classrooms and school surroundings neat, clean and hygienic.

Mr Kamboj emphasised that leadership is not about giving orders; it is about serving, helping and leading by example. He encouraged all student leaders to perform their duties honestly, responsibly and confidently.

The meeting motivated students to become responsible, disciplined and caring leaders and contribute positively to the school community.

The Daffodil School, organised the CBSE CT & AI Workshop (Domain II) on 31 July 2026 under the Annual Training Theme "Computational Thinking (CT) and Understanding Artificial Intelligence (AI)".

The workshop focused on the sub-theme "Assessment and Pedagogy in CT & AI", where teachers shared innovative classroom practices, case paper presentations, and effective teaching strategies to integrate Computational Thinking and Artificial Intelligence into classroom learning.

The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from educators, encouraging collaborative learning, professional growth, and the exchange of best teaching practices.

We extend our sincere gratitude to all the participants, presenters, appreciation committee members, and organisers for making the workshop a grand success.

The programme began with the management and staff gathering to pay their heartfelt homage to the great freedom fighter. Floral tributes were offered to the portrait of Shaheed Udham Singh, remembering his unmatched courage and supreme sacrifice for the nation. The speakers highlighted his inspiring life, bravery, and unwavering commitment to India’s freedom. They urged students to follow his ideals of patriotism, unity, and selfless service. The programme concluded with a pledge to uphold the values for which this great martyr sacrificed his life.
