माता हरकी देवी महिला शिक्षा महाविद्यालय, औढ़ां में जननायक एवं किसान नेता चौधरी देवीलाल जी की 113वीं जयंती श्रद्धा एवं सम्मान के साथ मनाई गई।
इस अवसर पर माता हरकी देवी शिक्षण संस्थान की प्रबंध निदेशिका डॉ. कुलदीप कौर ने कहा कि “ताऊ देवीलाल जी सच्चे जनहितैषी एवं किसान नेता थे। उन्होंने आधुनिक हरियाणा का सपना देखा और उसकी मजबूत नींव रखी।”
एसोसिएट डायरेक्टर शशिकांत शर्मा ने चौधरी देवीलाल जी के राजनीतिक एवं जनहितकारी कार्यों पर प्रकाश डाला।

कार्यक्रम में चौधरी देवीलाल जी के जीवनवृत्त एवं उनके कार्यों पर आधारित वीडियो प्रदर्शित किया गया तथा उनके चित्र पर पुष्पांजलि अर्पित की गई।

" *मन स्वस्थ तो तन स्वस्थ "* ❤️‍🩹

Academic & Cultural Committee of Mata Harki Devi College of Education for Women, Odhan, organised an impactful Nukkad Natak on the theme " *सशक्त युवा सशक्त भारत"*🇮🇳 with the sub-theme" *मन स्वस्थ तो तन स्वस्थ "*❤️‍🩹 as per the directions of the District Magistrate-cum-Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Sirsa.
The student-teachers of B.Ed. and D.El.Ed. presented the street play through powerful dialogues and an engaging performance, highlighting various aspects related to mental health.

Dr. Kuldeep Kaur Anand, Managing Director, MHD Group of Institutions, congratulated all the student artists for their remarkable efforts and encouraged them to continue organising awareness programmes on important social issues in the future as well.

Mr. Shashikant Sharma, Associate Director, highly appreciated the efforts of the students for presenting such a sensitive and significant issue as mental health so effectively through a street play.

Principal,Dr. Krishan Kant, also extended his heartfelt congratulations to all the student artists for their outstanding performance.

ROAD SAFETY QUIZ 2026– ROUND -I 🚸

*Road safety is not just responsibility—it is a shared commitment to saving lives!*🚦

As per the directions of the Traffic Police, Sirsa, Mata Harki Devi College of Education for Women, Odhan organised Round I of the Road Safety Quiz with enthusiastic participation from 25 teams.
The Road Safety Quiz is conducted every year in four rounds, aiming to create awareness among students about traffic rules, responsible road behaviour and the importance of safe mobility.
9 teams have been selected for the Block-Level Quiz – Round II.

Dr. Kuldeep Kaur Anand, Managing Director,MHD Group of Institutions, Odhan appreciated the enthusiastic participation of the students and emphasised that awareness and responsible behaviour among young citizens are essential for building safer roads and a safer society.

Mr. Shashikant Sharma, Associate Director, congratulated the participants and encouraged them to follow the traffic rules and inspiring others to do the same.

Dr. Krishan Kant, Principal, applauded the efforts of all the participants and highlighted the importance of educating young minds about road safety, traffic discipline and responsible citizenship.

🌿 World Nature Conservation Day | "Pahal – From Education to Civilization" 🌍
On the occasion of World Nature Conservation Day, Mata Harki Devi College of Education for Women, Odhan organized an Environmental Conservation Pledge Programme under the joint initiative of the Internal Quality Assurance Committee (IQAC) and the Cultural Committee.
B.Ed. and D.El.Ed. student teachers enthusiastically participated by signing the pledge and committing themselves to the protection and preservation of nature.
Dr. Kuldeep Kaur Anand, Managing Director of Mata Harki Devi Group of Institutions, emphasized that protecting nature is not only our greatest responsibility but also our moral duty. She encouraged every teacher and citizen to take an active role in safeguarding the environment for future generations.
Mr. Shashikant Sharma, Associate Director, highlighted that the future of humanity depends on our commitment to conserving nature.
Dr. Krishan Kant, Principal of the College, shared that the institution is continuously promoting social responsibility through its flagship initiative, "Pahal – From Education to Civilization," which inspires future teachers to actively contribute to meaningful social causes. The Nature Conservation Pledge Programme was organized as part of this ongoing mission.

One Day National Seminar on " Indian Knowledge System & It's Future Prospects"

Mata Harki Devi College of Education for Women & Mata Harki Devi College for women Odhan, jointly organized a One-Day National Seminar on "Indian Knowledge Tradition and Its Future Prospects", highlighting a key aspect of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 on 17 December 2025.

The seminar brought together distinguished academicians, including Prof. Vijay Kumar honourable Vice Chancellor,CDLU, Sirsa)Prof. Bhagchand Chauhan (Central University of Himachal Pradesh), and Prof. Pankaj Sharma (Technical Advisor to VC, Dean, Department of English CDLU, Sirsa) as keynote speakers. The seminar also witnessed the participation of eminent educationists from Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, and beyond, with over 300 academicians, researchers, and students in attendance.
A book titled " Culture, Code & Classro om: Educational Shift in the light of Indian Knowledge System & NEP 2020" published by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Mata Harki Devi College of Education for Women College was also unveiled during the event, marking another milestone in the institution's commitment to academic excellence and the preservation of India's rich knowledge heritage.
Dr. Kuldeep Kaur Anand, Managing Director, reaffirmed the institution's commitment to promoting Indian Knowledge Systems and creating meaningful academic platforms that inspire innovation while preserving cultural heritage.

Dr. Boota Singh Ji Virk, the key note speaker, highlighted Guru Teg Bahadur ji's unparalleled sacrifice, unwavering commitment to humanity and the universal Sikh Philisophy " सरबत दा भला" . He also shared valuable insights into the deep connection between the Indian Knowledge Tradition & Sikh Heritage.The lecture served as a meaningful tribute to Guru Ji’s enduring legacy, inspiring young minds to uphold the values of compassion, righteousness, and humanity.

Appreciating the initiative, Dr. Kuldeep Kaur Anand, Managing Director, MHD Group of Institutions, emphasized the importance of such academic engagements in shaping students’ values and holistic development.
Dr. Krishan Kant motivated the students to imbibe Guru Ji’s ideals of courage, truth, and selfless service in their life.

✨🎊🎇 *Celebrating traditions, creativity, and sustainability together! 🪔✨🎊🎇*

Mata Harki Devi College of Education for Women,Odhan celebrated the festive spirit of Diwali 🪔with a vibrant " *Class Decoration Competition" . B.Ed. students showcased their creativity by decorating their classrooms with handmade paper & clay diyas 🪔, decorative lights, wall hangings, colourful rangolis, flowers and other eco friendly decoration. This celebration also included a motivational & entertaining movie followed by the sweet distribution.
This innovative & eco friendly idea of the students was highly appreciated by Dr. Kuldeep Kaur Anand, Managing Director, MHD Group of Institutions.
Mr. Shashikant Sharma, Associate Director, MHD Group of Institutions, also extended his congratulations for the successful organization of the event.

*One Day Workshop on OTR Generation*

A one Day Workshop on OTR Generation was successfully organised by Scholarship committee to guide students about the scholarship application process and OTR Generation.
The workshop was led by Dr. Krishan Kant along with scholarship incharge Dr. Kiran Garg. Dr. Krishan Kant highlighted the importance of One Time Generation, explaining that it is a mandatory prerequisite for applying for the post Matric Scholarship. To ensure maximum participation and convenience,on the spot registerations were also done, enabling students to complete their OTR without any delay.
On this ocassion Dr. Kuldeep Kaur Anand, Managing Director, MHD Group of Institutions said that such workshops encourage every eligible candidate to complete their required formalities on time. She also said that MHD Group of Institutions is always committed to support it's students in all aspects of their academic journey.
This Workshop received tremendous response from the students and reaffirmed the institution's commitment to promoting educational opportunities through awareness and timely guidance.
