โจ Reflection of Light โ Learning Through Exploration โจ
Understanding the laws of reflection becomes much more meaningful when students can see light in action!
In this hands-on activity, we demonstrated the reflection of light using a laser beam and a plane mirror. As the laser struck the mirror, students observed the reflected ray following the laws of reflection:
๐น The angle of incidence is equal to the angle of reflection.
๐น The incident ray, reflected ray, and the normal all lie in the same plane.
To make the lightโs path visible, we sprinkled fine powder in the air, creating the Tyndall effect. This allowed students to clearly trace the journey of the light beam and better understand the concept through observation.
A simple yet engaging experiment that transformed a theoretical concept into an interactive and memorable learning experience!
