On behalf of Happy Valley Senior Secondary School , we warmly extend our heartfelt wishes and tributes on Bishnu Rabha Divas, honoring the great cultural icon Kalaguru Bishnu Prasad Rabha.
Today, we remember his extraordinary contributions as a writer, singer, dancer, music composer, actor, and painter who shaped Assam’s literary and cultural heritage.
His timeless songs, paintings of Saint Sankardev, and the honorific title “Kalaguru” (given by Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan in 1941) continue to inspire students and artists across generations.
We salute his legacy as “Sonic Silpi” (Sound Artist) and commemorate his death anniversary on 20 June 1969 by upholding the values of creativity, cultural preservation, and artistic excellence he embodied.
May Kalaguru Bishnu Prasad Rabha’s spirit continue to guide our school in nurturing young minds toward contributing to Assam’s rich cultural tradition.
