✨ Universal Brotherhood Day Celebration 2025 ✨
On 11th September, Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Borojalenga celebrated Universal Brotherhood Day in a grand and unique way across three venues simultaneously – Rabindra Pathagar Irongmara, Community Hall Chotojalenga, and Baroikona LP School Dorgakona.

The programme at each venue had a ceremonial beginning with lighting of lamps and invocation followed by felicitation of guests, cultural programme , Swadesh Mantra and Swamiji's quotations.

The day commemorated Swami Vivekananda’s historic Chicago address of 1893 that carried the timeless message of Universal Brotherhood. The objective of the celebration was to ponder the idea of Swami Vivekananda's concept of universal brotherhood and Man Making Nation Building involving the distinguished people from different field and community.

✨ The celebrations witnessed overwhelming participation from students, parents, alumni, and well-wishers. Students from different schools of the locality.

🙏 We were honoured by the gracious presence of distinguished guests from different fields who enriched the programmes with their words and blessings.

The celebration concluded on a purposeful note, reflecting the essence of Bharatiya Samskriti through the performances and collective spirit of students, parents, and community members.

Today, we paid tribute to Mahapurush Srimanta Shankardeva, the great saint, reformer, poet, and cultural icon of Assam.
Students offered their tribute through soulful Borgeet, Bhajan, Mantra Chanting, Skit, and Drama, beautifully showcasing his life, teachings, and immense contribution to society, literature, culture, and spirituality.
The celebration not only honoured his legacy but also inspired everyone to imbibe the values of peace, devotion, and harmony that Srimanta Shankardeva dedicated his life to spreading. 🙏

Today, we embraced the colours of freedom, unity, and national pride as VKV Borojalenga, celebrated the 79th Independence Day with unmatched enthusiasm and joy.
The morning began with the Flag Hoisting, filling every heart with respect, followed by soulful patriotic songs, a vibrant parade marching to the beat of patriotism, dances & skits that stirred emotions and celebrated the spirit of our Motherland.
The celebration reached its peak with a spirited Tiranga Yatra from our school to Assam University Campus, spreading the message of unity, pride, and love for India across the community.
Together, we celebrated not just a day — but the spirit of a free, proud, and vibrant India

This Raksha Bandhan our students and teachers celebrated the festival of love and protection in a special way — by visiting students’ homes and tying Rakhis to them and their family members,
creating moments filled with warmth, smiles, and togetherness

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Borojalenga observed the 11th International Day of Yoga with enthusiastic participation by students in Yogasanas, Pranayams, and five rounds of Surya Namaskar.

🌱 World Environment Day Celebration 🌍
Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Borojalenga joined hands with the global movement to observe World Environment Day with the theme of love and responsibility towards Mother Nature.

🌿 As a special gesture, our students planted saplings in their homes and nearby areas alongside their mothers, symbolizing gratitude and care for our environment.

🎨 students from the primary section showcased their creativity by preparing colourful posters and banners, spreading messages on conservation and sustainability.
