IPID started in 1990. It is presently headed by Mr. Jahangeer Ahmad Bhat ,as its newly elected youngest principal. It is having a 20 membered teaching staff.
The school was started in village Diaroo of District Shopian in 1990.Its main aim was to provide quality education to the students. It is known to be the best school in District Shopian providing education to 300 students. The school is having play ground of area atleast 10 kanal. It was primarly headed by Mr. Abdul Hamid,as its first principal. Present
