RCP Institute of Management Research & Development, Shirpur "Quality Education for Nourishing Tomorrows I.T. & Management Professionals"

The Institute of Management Research and Development, Shirpur was established in the year 1997 with a vision to pour the quality education up to grass root level. IMRD was set in motion with the introduction of the postgraduate programme Master in Computer Applications (MCA) & Master in Business Management (MBM). We have introduced the undergraduate and Diploma courses from academic year 2008-09.

The UG courses are Bachelor in Computer Application (BCA), Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA) & Bachelor in Business Management (BBM) and Diploma courses are Diploma in Computer Management (DCM), Diploma in Business Management (DBM). In our endeavor to supplement the cause of professional education, we have instituted multi-dimensional courses spread in various fields with its roots established at Shirpur. The Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff of the institute is a blend of senior experienced and young dynamic faculty members devoted to the noble cause of education. Many of our students have obtained top ranks in the university examinations and are in great demand in the industries in India and abroad also. We believe in offering education that is converted to knowledge with high end infrastructure and a pleasant atmosphere. Our latest curricular introduction is the five year integrated Dual Degree in MCA programme for those with management and IT inclinations and would want to further advance their career in
Management as well as in IT.

Internal Smart India Hackathon 2025

The MCA and MCA Integrated department of Institute has organized the Internal Smart India Hackathon 2025, engaging students in solving real-world problems.
Key Highlights:
A Total of 19 teams were participated, each comprising 6 members.
Diverse domains tackled: Healthcare, Agriculture, Smart City, Education, and more.
The event was inaugurated by esteemed jury members:
Mr. Rohit Borse, Software Development Engineer, Global Payment MCA(I) Alumnus batch 2019-2020.
Mr. Rushikesh Chaudhari, Software Engineer, Cognizant.

Hon. Director ma'am felicitated the invited jury members, acknowledging their presence and expertise. The jury members addressed the participating students, motivating them and highlighting the importance of such competitions in the IT industry.

Hon. Director ma'am also delivered an inspirational and motivational speech, encouraging students to push boundaries. The jury panel for the competition included Dr. Manoj Behere and Dr. Amit Patil, alongside Mr. Rohit Borse and Mr. Rushikesh Chaudhari. After evaluating the team's idea, each panel member provided valuable suggestions and mentored the teams for further improvements.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation, fostering innovation and problem-solving skills among MCA and MCA Integrated students.

The Training and Placement Cell of RCPIMRD, in association with TCS BPS, Pune, organized a pool campus placement drive on 16th May 2025 for all NMU region students from BBA, BMS, BA, BCom, BCA, and BSc 2023,2024,2025 candidates. A total of 9 HR and panelists participated in the drive,. Mr. Rahul Giri Campus lead and HR, Mr. Kaushtubh Thanewala HR, Ms. Arpita Mohanty HR, Ms. Ashwini Behade HR, Mr. Tanuj Manekar HR, Mr. Yogesh Potdar Senior Managerial panelist, Mr. Mukesh Rai Technical Panellist ,Mr. Sunil Chaudhary Technical Panelist Mr. Mandar Deshmukh Technical Panelist was visited. A total of 111 Eligible candidates were participated in the drive, undergoing three rounds an Aptitude test, Technical Interview, Managerial Interview and HR interview. In the first round, total 100 candidates were shortlisted. Eventually, 63 candidates cleared all the processes and were selected for final placement with a salary package of 1.9 LPA.
