*The unsung Heroes of GDC Tikkar.*

In the heart of the
quaint village of Tikkar, nestled amidst the picturesque landscapes of Himalayas, lies GDC Tikkar – a small college that aspires to thrive in academic brilliance with the unwavering dedication of its unsung heroes.

I became the Principal of the college in August 2023 and took on all the responsibilities. As the head of the institution, I have to be indomitable and act as a guiding force. I have to oversee the college’s functions and be a leader, mentor, and friend to my staff and students alike. In this college, a team of dynamic and dedicated teaching professionals, AP Rekha Sharma, AP Bhupinder, AP Sakshi, AP Anup, and AP Jyoti, play different roles and work tirelessly as the backbone of GDC Tikkar.

These educators go beyond the classroom, infusing the students with life skills through cultural events, sports meets, seminars, workshops, and competitions. Their dedication extends to managing administrative tasks, from salary bills to maintaining meticulous records in the absence of clerical staff for the last four years . They not only educate but also inspire, creating an environment where learning transcends textbooks.

Behind the scenes, another team of the unsung heroes Smt.Sheela, Smt. Nirmala, Smt. Baby, and Mr. Laiq Ram are the silent caretakers who keep the college immaculate. Their role is not just about cleanliness but as integral team members, assisting with documents, files, and supporting the teaching staff tirelessly.

Together, they form a close-knit family at GDC Tikkar. Beyond the academic rigors, they find the joy in shared moments— playing games, singing songs, cracking jokes, preparing dishes and celebrating various festivals and achievements. Their camaraderie goes beyond professional duties; as they are the community that cares, supports, and respects each other.

In the heart of this remote village, these unsung heroes work not just to educate but to create a space of learning, growth, and happiness. Their efforts, often unseen and unheard, deserve recognition and appreciation, for they are and in future will be the driving force behind the transformative journey of GDC Tikkar.

With this in mind, I extend my warmest greetings to all of you and convey my unwavering commitment to our shared pursuit of excellence.

Our college is a vibrant tapestry of dreams, aspirations, and possibilities, and each one of you plays a vital role in its rich fabric. Together, we create an environment where learning knows no bounds, and potential is limitless.

In the words of Helen Keller, "Alone, we can do so little; together, we can do so much." Let this be our guiding principle this year. Let us work in harmony, recognizing that our unity is our greatest strength. By supporting one another, we can achieve greatness.

To our staff, I express my deepest gratitude for your unwavering dedication. Your role in shaping the minds and characters of our students is truly commendable. As Albert Schweitzer once said, "The purpose of human life is to serve, and to show compassion and the will to help others." You exemplify this purpose every day.

To our cherished community members, your partnership is invaluable. Together, we build a strong foundation for the dreams of our youth to flourish. In the words of Margaret Mead, "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has."

In conclusion, let us embrace this academic year with open hearts and open minds. Let us be guided by the words of John F. Kennedy: "Change is the law of life.
