80th Independence Day Celebrations at GPS
“Independence is a sentiment that every Indian cherishes with immense pride and dignity.”
Gayatri Public School celebrated the 80th Independence Day with great pride, patriotic fervour and enthusiasm across Unit 2 and Unit 1.
The celebrations commenced with flag hoisting and the National Anthem, in the gracious presence of Founder President Mrs. Radha Rani Sharma and Honourable Managing Director Mr. Pradumna Chaturvedi.
A vibrant cultural programme followed, featuring melodious patriotic songs by the school choir, an inspiring speech, a soulful poem and a graceful dance performance. The occasion was further enriched by an inspiring address by the Founder President, who encouraged students to uphold the values of patriotism and responsible citizenship. The programme culminated with the National Song, leaving everyone filled with pride and patriotic spirit.
Unit 1 celebrated the occasion with equal zeal and reverence, graced by Dr. Sona Dixit, Associate Professor, Faculty of Education, D.E.I., Agra, as the Chief Guest.
The programme began with the Gayatri Mantra and ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by captivating patriotic songs by the choir, graceful dance performances and an impressive gymnastics demonstration. The Nukkad Natak – ‘Prakriti Ki Pukaar’ conveyed a powerful message and left a lasting impact on the audience. The Chief Guest appreciated the performances and shared inspiring thoughts in her address. Resounding nationalistic slogans further enhanced the patriotic ambience before the celebrations concluded with the National Anthem.
