Water Park Adventure: Students Enjoy an Enriching Day at Sun Rise Water Park

On 29th September 2024, the students of Shri Vidhya Ashram International School embarked on an exciting trip to Sun Rise Water Park, a day filled with fun, learning, and recreation. The trip was organized as a part of the school's commitment to promoting holistic development and experiential learning for students.

The students began their journey in school buses, brimming with excitement. Upon reaching the park, they were warmly welcomed with snacks and refreshing juice drinks, setting the tone for an enjoyable day ahead.

The day was packed with a variety of activities:
Water Adventures: Students delighted in swimming and enjoyed the thrilling water slides, making the pool area a highlight of the trip.
Botanical Garden Tour: A walk through the botanical garden introduced them to various ornamental and scientific plants, enriching their knowledge of flora.
Games and Recreation: The children actively participated in both indoor and outdoor games, fostering teamwork and physical fitness.
Animal Rides: A ride on camels and horses brought smiles to their faces, providing a unique experience for many.
A nutritious lunch was served in the afternoon, ensuring students stayed energized throughout the day. As the trip came to an end, they were treated to apples and ice creams before departing the park.

The students were safely transported back to their homes by school buses, concluding a day filled with joy, learning, and unforgettable memories. The trip to Sun Rise Water Park not only offered relaxation but also served as an opportunity for students to bond with their peers and appreciate the beauty of nature.

CONSTITUTION DAY ASSEMBLY
[26th November, 2024]
Today, our school marked the celebration of Constitution Day, a significant occasion that commemorates the adoption of the Constitution of India on November 26, 1949. Constitution Day, also known as Samvidhan Divas, is observed to honor the values enshrined in the Constitution and to promote awareness about the rights and duties of citizens as outlined in this document.
This year, the celebration was made special by involving both teachers and students in a collective oath-taking ceremony. The event aimed to foster a deeper understanding of the Constitution, its Preamble, and the fundamental principles that guide the democratic framework of our country.

Event Overview:
The event began with a brief introduction by the Principal, who highlighted the significance of Constitution Day and the role the Constitution plays in shaping India's democratic values. The Principal also emphasized the importance of understanding and upholding the values of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity in our everyday lives.

Key Highlights of the Celebration:
Preamble Reading and Oath-Taking:
Following the Principal’s address, all attendees—teachers and students alike—joined together in reading the Preamble of the Constitution. The Preamble is a powerful reminder of the foundational ideals of the Republic of India.
The entire gathering stood in unison and recited the Preamble, pledging their commitment to uphold the principles of democracy, secularism, justice, and equality.

Interactive Discussion:
The students of Class IX Khusbhu Gurjar, Kanishka Kumawat, Muskan Meena, Payal Gurjar, Ridhi Agarwal, and Vaishali Kashyap presented today’s thought, asked G.K questions, quizzes followed by amazing facts which made this day special.
Closing Remarks:
The Assembly was addressed to be punctual, and in proper dress, at the end, it was concluded with a National Song.

Glimpses of Cleanliness drive.
On the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi's birth anniversary, [S.V.A. International] organized a Cleanliness Drive on 2nd October, paying homage to the Father of the Nation and his vision of a clean and self-reliant India.

The event began with a special assembly, where students and teachers shared inspiring speeches and thoughts on Gandhiji’s principles of cleanliness, simplicity, and non-violence.

Following the assembly, the cleanliness drive commenced with great enthusiasm. Students, teachers, and staff actively participated in cleaning the school premises, nearby streets, and public areas. Equipped with brooms, and garbage bags, the participants demonstrated a strong commitment to the cause of cleanliness and hygiene.

The Principal and teachers addressed the gathering, encouraging students to adopt cleanliness as a daily habit and to act as ambassadors of Gandhiji’s ideals in their communities.

The event concluded with a pledge by all participants to contribute actively towards maintaining cleanliness and protecting the environment.

This initiative not only honoured Mahatma Gandhi's legacy but also instilled a sense of responsibility and community service among students and staff. School is proud to have contributed to the cause of a cleaner and healthier India.
