Serampore Girls’ College celebrated Paschim Banga Divas on 20 June 2026 with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour. To commemorate the remarkable contribution of Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee towards the preservation and formation of West Bengal, the college organized a Quiz Competition and an Essay Writing Competition for its students.
The programme was organized by the NSS Unit in collaboration with the Cultural Committee of Serampore Girls’ College. Students participated actively in the events, which aimed to promote awareness of the history, heritage, and cultural identity of West Bengal, while paying tribute to the vision and efforts of Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee in safeguarding the interests of the people of Bengal.
