Library of Waghire College Saswad Library sections; viz. Acquisition, Processing, Periodical, Circulation, Reading, Internet & Reference Sections. Collection: 70000+ Books.

The Library of the college was established in1972 along with the opening of the college. The separate spacious building for library was built in 1985. The Central Library holds rich collection of books, journals, periodicals and online database. The Library is having spacious building well equipped with furniture, book racks, computers, printers, Internet connection and UPS power back-up. Specious

well-ventilated illuminated reading hall with 60 seating capacity. Ample space for stack room and administrative work. The library is equipped with various efficient and well organised sections; viz. Acquisition Section, Processing Section (Book prossessing, data entry, barcoding, shelving, etc.), Periodical Section, Circulation Section, Reading Section, Internet Section, Reference Section, Stack Room. The library is automated. The library has Web-OPAC to search the bibliographic database. Internet facility is made available with 5 nodes in the digital library. Students and faculty can access N-LIST database having e-books, e-materials in the library. Access to the database is also provided to the departments having Internet facility as per the authentication policy of the Database.

आज राष्ट्रीय विज्ञान दिन
भारतीय संविधानाच्या कलम 51A मध्ये नागरिकांची मूलभूत कर्तव्ये दिली आहेत. त्यानुसार विज्ञाननिष्ठ दृष्टिकोन, मानवतावाद आणि शोधकबुद्धी व सुधारणावाद यांचा विकास करणे. हे आपले कर्तव्य आहे.

मूलभूत कर्तव्यांची यादी
1. घटनेचे पालन करणे आणि तिचे आदर्श व संस्था, राष्ट्रध्वज व राष्ट्रगीत यांचा आदर करणे.
2. ज्यामुळे आपल्या राष्ट्रीय स्वातंत्र्य लढ्यास स्फूर्ती मिळाली. त्या उदात्त आदर्शाची जोपासना करून त्याचे अनुसरण करणे.
3. भारताचे सार्वभौमत्व, एकता व एकात्मता उन्नत ठेवणे व त्यांचे संरक्षण करणे.
4. देशाचे संरक्षण करणे व आवाहन केले जाईल तेव्हा राष्ट्रीय सेवा बजावणे.
5. धार्मिक, भाषिक व प्रादेशिक किंवा वर्गीय भेदांच्या पलिकडे जाऊन भारतातील सर्व जनतेमध्ये सामंजस्य व बंधुभाव वाढीस लावणे, स्त्रियांच्या प्रतिष्ठेला उणेपणा आणणाऱ्या प्रथांचा त्याग करणे.
6. आपल्या संमिश्र संस्कृतीच्या समृद्ध वारशांचे मोल जाणून तो जतन करणे.
7. वने, सरोवरे, नद्या व वन्य जीवसृष्टी यांसह नैसर्गिक पर्यावरणाचे रक्षण करून त सुधारणा करणे, आणि प्राणिमात्रांबद्दल दया-बुद्धी बाळगणे.
8. विज्ञाननिष्ठ दृष्टिकोन, मानवतावाद आणि शोधकबुद्धी व सुधारणावाद यांचा विकास करणे.
9. सार्वजनिक मालमत्तेचे रक्षण करणे व हिंसाचाराचा निग्रहपूर्वक त्याग करणे.
10. राष्ट्र सतत उपक्रम व सिद्धी (endevour and achievements) यांच्या चढत्या श्रेणी गाठत जाईल अशाप्रकारे व्यक्तिगत व सामुदायिक कार्याच्या सर्व क्षेत्रांमध्ये उत्तमता संपादन करण्यासाठी झटणे.
11. जो जन्मदाता असेल किंवा पालक असेल त्याने आपल्या अपत्यास अथवा पाल्यास, त्याच्या वयाच्या सहाव्या वर्षापासून ते चौदाव्या वर्षापर्यंत शिक्षणाची संधी उपलब्ध करून देणे. (हे मूलभूत कर्तव्य 86 व्या घटनादुरूस्ती, 2002 ने समाविष्ट केले.).
