Utah Supreme Court Justice Diana Hagen has resigned effective immediately.

The resignation comes ahead of a potential investigation into a complaint alleging an improper relationship with an attorney who argued cases before the court. Hagen denied any wrongdoing and said she recused herself from a major redistricting case last year after rekindling a friendship with the attorney in question.

In her resignation letter, Hagen wrote:

"I would love nothing more than to continue serving the people of Utah as a Supreme Court justice, but I cannot do so without sacrificing the privacy and well-being of those I care about and the effective functioning and independence of Utah's judiciary."

Chief Justice Matthew Durrant called it "a loss for the judiciary," noting Hagen's role in prosecuting the man who kidnapped Elizabeth Smart before her appointment to the bench in 2022.

State leaders say the specific investigation is now concluded and will instead pursue reforms to the Judicial Conduct Commission. Gov. Spencer Cox will announce the process to fill the vacancy in the coming days.

Post Malone is celebrating Record Store Day by paying tribute to Nirvana.

The "Circles" singer, 29, who's also the Record Store Day ambassador for 2025, is releasing the Nirvana tribute album packed with the songs he performed at his Salt Lake City home amid the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.

The 14-track record, coming in April, will feature Travis Barker on drums, bassist Brian Lee, and guitarist Nick Mac. Included on the track list are covers of Nirvana's "Come as You Are," "Lounge Act," "On a Plane" and "Heart-Shaped Box," among others.

The original YouTube livestream took place in April 2020 and raised funds for the UN Foundation’s COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund to benefit the World Health Organization.

Profits from the tribute album, aptly titled Post Malone Tribute to Nirvana will go towards MusiCares’ Addiction Recovery/Mental Health division.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Fresh off the release of a new album, “Hurry Up Tomorrow,” The Weeknd has announced a massive North American stadium tour — not an easy feat for a contemporary solo act and further confirmation of his popularity.

The “After Hours ‘Til Dawn” tour kicks off May 9 in Phoenix at the State Farm Stadium and concludes in San Antonio on Sept. 3 at the Alamodome.

The tour will also hit Detroit; Chicago; East Rutherford, New Jersey; Foxborough, Massachusetts; Minneapolis; Denver; Inglewood, California; Las Vegas; Santa Clarita, California; Seattle, Vancouver, Canada; Edmonton, Canada; Montreal; Toronto; Philadelphia; Landover, Maryland; Nashville, Tennessee; Miami; Atlanta; Orlando, Florida; Arlington, Texas, and Houston.
