Gandhi Centenary High School (GCHS) in Sangareddy, Medak District, Telangana was established in 1969, the birth centenary year of Mahatma Gandhi, as a co-educational English medium school by Dr. Durgabai Deshmukh. It was the best English medium School in the district. GCHS continues to follow in the footsteps of Mahatma Gandhi and preach the same principles. GCHS has a great reputation of producing great careers and proud alumni who are all trying to make this a better world. GCHS has been very popular in fostering quality education with great faculty. Aims & Objectives of GCHS Alumni Association
• To provide a forum for the alumni of the institute. To bring together the old students of all batches of GCHS, organize Alumni meets, and help all of us bond with the alma mater.
• To engage in such academic and social activities as shall contribute towards promoting liaison between the alumni and the School
• To initiate certain projects to encourage better performance among the current students, provide guidance in any way as may be sought, and give back to the school for all that it has given us.
• To encourage the Alumni to take an active and abiding interest in the work and progress of the school so as to contribute towards enhancement of the social utility of their Alma Mater.
• To organize and establish scholarship funds, with the consent of the administration of the school to help the needy and deserving students.
• To Institute prizes and awards for outstanding academic activity by the students of the school decided with the mutual consent of the administration of the school; also to suitably recognize outstanding social and community service by the Alumni and the students. It is our collective effort to willingly give back to the Society / School which helped as stepping stone in nurturing our career growth.
