We are happy to share that a research paper by Prof. Santonu Sarkar et al. has won the Best Industrial Paper Award at the 21st International Conference on Evaluation of Novel Approaches to Software Engineering (ENASE 2026) at Benidorm, Spain!

The award-winning paper is titled:
📝 "PLCEQ: Behavioural Equivalence Checking for Industrial PLC Software Migration"
👥 Authors: Santonu Sarkar, Avijit Mandal, and Raoul Jetley

ENASE is a highly regarded conference in Software Engineering, specifically focusing on novel techniques. This year's edition focused mostly on AI/ML based techniques applied to different software engineering life cycles. The conference had a highly intriguing and insightful keynote from Bertrand Meyer on "A Path for Quality Software Engineering in the Age of AI".

This recognition highlights the high-impact, industry-relevant research being driven by our faculty, bridging the gap between complex software theory and real-world industrial migration challenges.
