Samthar HS School Hosts First-Ever Grand Children’s Day with Miss & Master School Competition.
Samthar HS School celebrated Children’s Day 2025 with great enthusiasm as the program began with warm hosting by Sir Pariksh*t and Miss Sashika, followed by the auspicious Deep Prajwalan performed by HOI Ma’am Rejina Gurung along with the school and house captains. After a short welcome song by the teachers, the event moved into its main attraction—the Miss and Master School 2025 competition—organized in a systematic three-round format designed to bring out the true potential of every participant. Judged by Sir Deependra, Miss Sashika, and Miss Wilma, the first round focused on modelling and ramp walk, the second emphasized self-presentation and judge interaction, and the third showcased the students’ extraordinary talents, proving that with the right platform and encouragement, children can shine brilliantly and even become future changemakers. Cultural performances including dances, songs, and a poem recitation added color to the event, while HOI Ma’am Rejina Gurung delivered an inspiring speech explaining the importance and origin of Children’s Day, also informing the students about Chacha Nehru—his love for children and his belief that young minds are the foundation of a strong nation. This year’s program was especially meaningful as it marked the first-ever grand celebration of Children’s Day in the school, setting a new milestone of encouragement and recognition for student talent.
The event concluded on a joyful note with the distribution of sweets to all students and the announcement of the winners, where Asmita Rai was crowned Miss School 2025 and Ronit Bhujel received the title of Master School 2025, making the day truly memorable and inspiring for the entire school community.
