🎓 Industrial Exposure Visit | CAET, Pusa

B.Tech. (Agri. Engg.) 5th semester students visited three agro-industrial units on 28 Nov 2025, gaining hands-on insights into food storage, processing, and quality control.

📍 Adani Agri Logistics, Shreerampur
Students learned about modern silo storage, grain unloading, cleaning–grading systems, moisture testing, fumigation and QC procedures.

📍 Laxmi Flour Mill, Samastipur
They learned about wheat procurement and the production of atta, maida, suji, and bran, along with quality testing and packaging techniques.

📍 FCI Warehouse, Samastipur
Students explored traditional warehouse storage, standard bag stacking, fumigation, and monitoring practices.

The visit was successfully led by Dr. Binod Kumar Yadav and . Dinesh Rajak, providing students valuable real-world industrial exposure.

Honourable Union Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of India, Shri Ram Nath Thakur, and Vice Chancellor Dr. Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University, Pusa Dr. P.S. Pandey, visited the CAET exhibition stall at Vidyapati Sabhagar.

An offline session on Prevention of Cyber Fraud and Citizen-Centric Schemes of the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) was conducted on 14th November 2025 at Panchtantra Hall, RPCAU, Pusa, for the PG and PhD students of the Post Graduate College of Agriculture (PGCA), RPCAU, Pusa. The programme was organized by CAET, RPCAU, Pusa. The keynote address was delivered by the Nodal Officer, Er. Devanshu Saxena, Assistant Professor, CAET, along with Sanchar Mitra volunteers Himanshu Poddar and Sibhanshu Swayampragyan, in the presence of Dr. Mayank Rai, Dean, PGCA, and Dr. Sanjay Patel, Professor, CAET. The session covered key topics such as digital safety, cyber fraud prevention, Aadhaar-mobile verification, the Chakshu portal for reporting suspected fraudulent communication, and the CEIR portal for lost or stolen mobile phones. The College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology celebrated Rashtiya Ekta Divas on October 31, 2025, at 3:00 PM with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor, commemorating the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India. The celebration served as a tribute to Sardar Patel’s pivotal role in unifying the nation and sought to rekindle the spirit of unity, integrity, and national security among the college community. The program commenced with an inspiring address by Dr. Ram Suresh, Dean of the College, who highlighted Sardar Patel’s immense contribution to the integration of India. In his speech, Dr. Suresh urged everyone to uphold Patel’s ideals of national unity, selfless service, and unwavering commitment to the nation’s progress. The ceremony continued with the National Unity Day Pledge, during which the Heads of Departments, faculty members, non-teaching staff, and students solemnly resolved to preserve and strengthen the unity, integrity, and security of India. The collective participation and enthusiasm of all attendees truly reflected the essence of “Ek Bharat, Shrestha Bharat” (One India, Great India). CAET celebrated Vigilance Awareness Week on 31October 2025.
The College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology organised Vigilance Awareness Week (October 27, 2025, to November 2, 2025) with great enthusiasm and a spirit of patriotism on October 31, 2025, at 2:30 PM. The program was organized with the objective of reinforcing the values of honesty, transparency, and integrity among the staff and students.
The program commenced with an inspiring address by the Dean of the College, Dr. Ram Suresh, who highlighted the importance of vigilance and ethical conduct. Following his address, the Vigilance Pledge was administered, during which the Heads of Departments, faculty members, non-teaching staff, and students resolved to always perform their duties with integrity, transparency, and dedication.
