Some of us became so filled with fear because of the global pandemic that we thought the world was coming to an end! Yet Allah has allowed us to survive to see another Eid ul Fitr and here we are again, celebrating another Eid al Adha. Ma shaa Allaah. What does this say to us? Life goes on! Keep doing your best to be from the best of Muslims, and leave the rest to Allaah! Have no fear, have faith! As we remember the sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim (may Allah be pleased with him), let us also remember to show gratitude through kindness and charity. Not only with eediya (cash gifts for the children), new clothes and food, but through charity towards those less fortunate than ourselves. As Almighty Allah said, “Charity does not decrease you in wealth.” EID MUBARAK!
