Every game reflected patience, planning, teamwork, and a strong competitive spirit, making the tournament an exciting and memorable celebration of house spirit and young minds in action.

Our students from Grades 3, 5 & 8 enthusiastically participated in the Benchmark Assessment—an enriching step in their academic journey. The assessment focused on strengthening essential skills in literacy, scientific understanding, numerical ability, and logical reasoning.

Through diverse question formats and time-bound tasks, students developed better problem-solving skills, time management, and confidence. The valuable insights gained from the assessment help teachers understand each learner’s needs and provide personalized support, making learning more meaningful, engaging, and enjoyable for every student.

Celebrating 80 Years of India’s Independence with Pride & Patriotism!

Seth M. R. Jaipuria School, Roorkee, celebrated the 80th Independence Day of India on 15th August 2026 with immense enthusiasm, patriotic fervour and pride.

The programme began with the hoisting of the national flag, followed by the soulful rendition of the national anthem, filling the school atmosphere with a profound sense of patriotism.

The principal addressed the gathering with inspiring words on the significance of Independence Day and reminded everyone of their responsibilities as citizens of a free nation.

The celebrations beautifully showcased the talents of our students. Our Pre-Primary students presented a delightful dance performance, followed by an inspiring English speech. A melodious Sanskrit song further highlighted the richness of India’s cultural heritage.

The senior students added energy and vibrancy to the occasion with their captivating dance performance, followed by a thought-provoking Hindi speech that remembered the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and reminded us of our duty towards the nation.

The spirit of patriotism reached its peak with the soulful rendition of “Vande Mataram”, creating an atmosphere of pride, unity and love for our motherland.

The programme concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the principal, teachers, students, parents and everyone who contributed to making the celebration a memorable one. Sweets were then distributed among the students before dispersal.

The celebration was a beautiful blend of patriotism, culture, unity, freedom and responsibility, inspiring everyone to honour the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and contribute towards building a stronger and more progressive India.
