Ayushman Aarogya Shivir Held at KGIHE, Kebali

Kebali, 23 Sep: Kasturba Gandhi Institute of Higher Education (KGIHE), Kebali, hosted an Ayushman Aarogya Shivir – Free Health Check-up Camp, organised by the District TB Centre (NTEP), Lower Dibang Valley, in collaboration with Abralow Memorial Multipurpose Society (AMMS).

The health camp was organised with the objective of promoting health awareness, encouraging regular health check-ups, and facilitating early detection of health-related concerns among the participants.

During the camp, participants were provided with free health screening and medical guidance by healthcare professionals. Special emphasis was placed on creating awareness about tuberculosis (TB), its prevention, early detection and timely treatment, along with guidance on maintaining overall health and well-being.

The programme also provided an opportunity for students and other participants to interact with healthcare professionals and gain a better understanding of preventive healthcare and the importance of seeking timely medical attention.

KGIHE and AMMS expressed their sincere appreciation to the District TB Centre (NTEP), Lower Dibang Valley, and the healthcare professionals involved in the programme for their dedicated service and valuable contribution towards promoting health awareness and building a healthier community.

🩸 Blood Donation Camp at KGIHE🩸

Kasturba Gandhi Institute of Higher Education (KGIHE) successfully organised a Blood Donation Camp in collaboration with the Blood Centre, District Hospital, Roing, and Abralow Memorial Multipurpose Society (AMMS).

The camp was organised to promote awareness about voluntary blood donation and to encourage the spirit of humanity, compassion, and social responsibility among our students, faculty, and staff.

We were honoured and grateful for the presence and support of Dr. Okene Mega, Senior Medical Officer, Lower Dibang Valley, along with the dedicated Nursing Officers and Lab Technicians. Their professional service, guidance, and valuable contribution played an important role in the successful conduct of the camp.

KGIHE sincerely appreciates all the students, faculty members, volunteers, and donors who came forward and contributed to this noble cause.

The meeting focused on the formation of committees, assignment of responsibilities, and planning of activities etc..

The faculty members and staff participated actively and reaffirmed their commitment towards ensuring quality enhancement and institutional excellence.
