Words that Inspire, Voices that Shine - Inter-House Literary Competitions

DAV Centenary Public School, Rohtak hosted the Inter-House Literary Competitions on May 11, 2026 with great enthusiasm and participation. The event provided a wonderful platform for students to showcase their confidence, expression and communication skills.

The competitions included:
●English & Hindi Speech Competition (Classes VI–VII & XI–XII)
●हिन्दी कविता गायन प्रतियोगिता (Classes IX–X)
●Newspaper Reading Competition (Classes III–V)

The competitions were judged by the panel of Ms. Anu Suneja, Ms. Pushpa Kadyan, Ms. Rekha Miglani and Mrs. Sarita Saharan.

The event was smoothly organised by the Shraddhanand House teams under the guidance of Ms. Renu Budhiraja, Ms. Sween and Ms. Pushpa Kadyan. The programme was gracefully anchored by the students under the able guidance of Ms. Shivani Sagar and Ms. Pushpa Kadyanwhose efforts added confidence and vibrancy to the event.

DAV Centenary Public School, Rohtak proudly celebrates the achievement of its young budding artists in the Hari Bhoomi Poster Making Competition organized today i.e. May 12,2026 on the meaningful theme “War Destroys; Peace Builds.”

🥉 Anika Singh (Class VI) secured the Third Position

Through their creativity, colours and powerful ideas, the students beautifully expressed the message of world peace . Their performance has brought honour to the school.

DAVCPS Rohtak Students Explored Creativity at “Abhivyanjana 2026” at DLCSUPVA, Rohtak

With great enthusiasm and artistic zeal, the students of Classes XI and XII of DAV Centenary Public School, Rohtak visited “Abhivyanjana 2026”, the annual art festival organized by Dada Lakhmi Chand State University of Performing and Visual Arts on May 7 and 8, 2026. The visit aimed to expose students to the vibrant world of visual and performing arts and to nurture creativity and cultural appreciation among them.

Students explored captivating displays of paintings, sculptures, photography, live art demonstrations, theatre and musical performances. The colourful atmosphere and artistic brilliance inspired the young learners and broadened their creative perspective.

Principal Mr. Shanker Lal Sehgal appreciated the initiative and encouraged students to explore art as a powerful medium of expression and innovation. The visit proved to be an enriching and memorable learning experience for all.

Some achievements are so special that they deserve to be celebrated beyond timelines. Though a little delayed, the pride, hard work and success of our students remain as inspiring and unforgettable as ever.
