[Update: Joint CHED-DOH Memorandum Circular on Guidelines on the Gradual Re-Opening of Campuses of HEIs for Limited Face-to-Face Classes]

Here are the files posted during the Public Orientation on the Joint CHED-DOH Memorandum Circular on Guidelines on the Gradual Re-Opening of Campuses of HEIs for Limited Face-to-Face Classes during the Covid-19 Pandemic last January 22, 2021.

We are still waiting for the Joint CHED-DOH Memorandum Circular to be signed for implementation.

Note: Post-Graduate Medical Internship is included and APMC will issue a supplemental advisory.

RESUMPTION OF FACE TO FACE CLASSES ☺️

[MEMORANDUM FROM THE EXECUTIVE SECRETARY]

Resumption of Limited Face to Face Classes for Medical and Allied Health-Related Programs of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) In Areas under Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ) and of HEIs in General Community Quarantine (GCQ) Areas with Base Hospitals that Cater to COVID-19 Patients.

Please be guided accordingly.

Dear MBBS Aspirants,

Latest notification of (NMC) National Medical Council is highly questionable relieving itself from the responsibility of acting as a regulator and withdrawing from giving a verified list of Medicine colleges in foreign countries for MBBS aspirants to pursue their medical education.

Now students will have to directly contact those colleges abroad & check if its the Right option or Not.☠️

ISSUES WITH THIS NOTIFICATION

Foreign Medical Education is highly deregulated promoted by agents, contractors and medical colleges from which some also have vested motives. Each year many students are cheated by these vested groups taking advantage of information gap.

This decision will simply lead to mushrooming of hundreds of substandard medical colleges with pathetic infrastructure, poor education, affiliation issues etc. 😔
