Flow into Life ☀️
Yoga isn’t just something we do — it’s something we live.
How we breathe through challenges, stay grounded in chaos, and move with intention… that’s the real practice.
From the mat → to life 🌿
Baddha Konasana B (Bound Angle Pose) is a seated forward-fold variation from the Ashtanga Primary Series. It’s one of the hip-opening poses in the finishing seated sequence, deepening both external hip rotation and forward fold flexibility.

One more moment… Hold…
In Ashtanga practice I am reminded that life, just like the practice, asks us to stay. To pause. To breathe. To be present with what is, even when it feels intense or challenging. 🧘🏼♂️
Holding a little longer teaches me that strength is not only in the body but also in the heart and mind. On the mat it is the posture, in life it is the moment. The inhale, the exhale, the trust that everything passes yet leaves behind wisdom. ✨

✨ Canada Summer Photo Dump ✨
before I step into a new chapter… In just a few days I’ll be leaving for India, where two months of Yoga Teacher Training and Ashram life await me. A journey inward, a new phase of growth, and discoveries I can’t yet put into words. For now, I’m holding close the light, laughter, and stillness of these Canadian summer moments. 🏞️☀️

“Bakasana” or “Crane pose” performed in this picture and a breakdown of how it’s different from the “Kakasana” or “Crow pose”.
These two different poses often confused by many people (even experienced yogis) and what actual difference is between them?
Bakasana (crane pose) requires your knees to be tucked, wedged high up into the underarms. The arms are straight. The core is well engaged. Your hips are lifted as high as possible, and there is a slight rounding in the back.
Kakasana (crow pose) does not require the knee-into-underarm tuck. The arms are bent in a 90-degree angle (think chaturanga arms). The shins rest on the “shelf” of your upper arms (triceps), engaged core.
So now you know - it’s not in the feet, it’s not in the gaze-point, and it’s not in the hand placement. It’s all in the arms - straight in bakasana, bent in kakasana.
And don’t forget it’s a long journey to perform this asana perfectly so don’t be strict to yourself and enjoy the process!✨

My passion for a “Crow pose” or “Kakasana” with this iconic view at Canadian Rocky Mountains, surrounded with the most incredible lake view!💙
Did you know the benefits of this pose?
-Helps strengthen the wrists, shoulders and arms.
-Brings about balance, concentration, and coordination and improves the quality of life.
-Increases the elasticity and flexibility of the spine and makes it more adaptable.
-Opens up the groin region.
And don’t forget this amazing feeling when you finally can proceed this pose correctly and every time keep it just a bit longer. Somehow it makes me to be so proud of myself 😄
In the next post I’m looking forward to show you a “Crane pose” or “Bakasana” and what’s the difference between them ✨
