Indian Society for Training & Development (ISTD), Ranchi Chapter

organized a program to celebrate its 56th Foundation Day at Jharkhand Government Tool Room, Ranchi. The theme was “Paradigm Shift in the Education & Learning Landscape,” highlighting the evolving nature of education and training.
The event began with a ceremonial lamp lighting. Chapter Chairman Mr. Mahesh Kumar Gupta welcomed guests and spoke about ISTD’s achievements and its role in training and development.
The Chief Guest, Dr. Kamakshi Raman (Former Executive Director, IICM Ranchi), emphasized quality education, leadership development, and ethical values. She stressed that technical knowledge alone is not enough—communication skills and personality development are equally important.
Key speakers included Mr. Narendra Kumar Ojha and Prof. Dr. Raman Ballabh, who discussed digital learning, skill development, innovation, and the importance of practical education.
Dr. Prabhash Chandra Mishra highlighted continuous learning, while Mr. Ashutosh Mishra shared ISTD’s achievements and future plans.
The program saw active participation from educators and professionals. It concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Mithilesh Kumar Upadhyay.

🎓 Certificate Distribution Ceremony for OJT Trainees
Jharkhand Government Tool Room organized a Certificate Distribution Ceremony for students who successfully completed the On-the-Job Training (OJT) Course, with around 30 trainees participating in the program.
The Chief Guest, Mr. Pandu Gagrai, General Manager (HR), Rangit Power Station, NHPC, Sikkim, distributed certificates and encouraged students to focus on practical exposure along with theoretical knowledge. He highlighted that industry-oriented training plays a vital role in building confidence and preparing students for real workplace challenges.
He also emphasized the importance of time management, discipline, and continuous learning for achieving success in today’s competitive environment.
Mr. Mahesh Kumar Gupta, Principal of Jharkhand Government Tool Room, shared insights on the institute’s various technical and skill development programs and motivated students to keep enhancing their skills.
The program was conducted by Mr. Mangal Toppo, and the vote of thanks was delivered by Mr. Ashutosh Mishra.
Mr. Mithilesh Kumar Upadhyay, Principal of NTPC Barkagaon ITI, was also present.

Certificate Distribution Ceremony for Solar Panel Installation & Maintenance Technician Training Held at Jharkhand Government Tool Room under CMPDI’s CSR Initiative

A certificate distribution ceremony was organized for the successful completion of the “Solar Panel Installation & Maintenance Technician” training program conducted under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative of Central Mine Planning and Design Institute Limited (CMPDIL). A total of 50 participants who successfully completed the training were awarded certificates.

The objective of the program was to equip youth with technical skills in the renewable energy sector. Participants received comprehensive training on solar panel installation, system maintenance, safety standards, and both the technical and practical aspects of solar energy systems.

The certificates were distributed by Dr. Shishir Dutta, General Manager (Human Resources), CMPDIL, who attended the event as the Chief Guest. Ms. Safina Parveen and Mr. Shailesh from CMPDIL were also present on the occasion.

In his address, Dr. Dutta highlighted that solar energy has become an important source of clean and sustainable power. He emphasized that skill development programs like this help connect youth with new technologies and encourage them towards self-reliance.

The program was conducted by Mr. Mangal Toppo, Training In-Charge, Jharkhand Government Tool Room. The vote of thanks was delivered by Mr. Ashutosh Mishra, Senior Administrative Officer. Other dignitaries present included Mr. Mahesh Kumar Gupta, Principal, Jharkhand Government Tool Room; Mr. Mithlesh Kumar Upadhyay, Principal, NTPC Barkagaon ITI; and faculty members Mr. Kamalkant and Mr. Kumar Avinash.
