Sundar Pichai: The hero behind the modern Google Map

Pichai Sundararajan, or popularly known as Sundar Pichai is an Indian-origin American business executive. He is the chief executive officer (CEO) of Alphabet Inc. and its subsidiary Google.

Sunder Pichai lives in America. This incident happened in 2004. One of his acquaintances invited him to his house for dinner. Sundar had to go with his wife Anjali. So, he asked his wife to get there directly from home and Sunder would join them straight from the office.

The dinner program was at eight o’clock in the evening. Anjali arrived for dinner at eight in her car. Sundar also left the office early, but he lost his way on the way. When he got there, it was almost 10 o’clock. His wife had already left after eating the dinner away. She was very upset with Sundar not making for the dinner.
Sundar also went home from there without eating anything. As soon as he got home, his wife started a big fight with him. He tried to explain but the woman was not ready to accept any explanation. Seeing Anjali’s bad mood, Sundar decided not to be at home that day or she will kill him. So, he returned to the office again at the same time at night.

Sundar spent the whole night at the office that day. Then he started thinking – if I lost the way, then many people might also be losing their way every day. It would be an awesome idea not to get lost in any way. Thinking all night, he thought that if he had the map in his pocket and the direction was right, he would not have lost his way. He wanted to make it impossible for the people to get lost.

The next morning, Sundar called all of his team and put up the idea of making a map in front of everyone. The staff raised their hands at hearing this idea. The team did not believe in his idea, but Sundar held meetings with the team continuously for almost two days and convinced them to design a product that would show the way to people.

Sundar Pichai and his team worked very hard and made Google Map in 2005 and launched it in America. The following year in 2006 it was launched in England and in 2008 it was launched in India. And now you already know that the maps made by them do the job to present the right way to the whole world. According to one statistical survey, every seventh person in the world uses Google Maps.

Newton’s third law of emotion

Ha! Ha! Ha! so true! I’m damn sure, that this jokeful law of emotion touches the deep core heart of every married or committed man.

I was watching a south Indian movie starring Dhanush B.Tech Raghuvaran 2 (VIP). There was one scene where Dhunush got married and one day he came home late drunk and his newly married wife was on guard at the door. He was terrified of that woman.

But, since, he was drunk which kind of generates a strange courage in men. He said all sorts of things to his wife. In the morning, when that courage was gone, he had no idea how to face his wife. So, he bought some flowers to make amends for the last night. He was really sorry because he loved his wife very much.

He said, “Dear, I’m really sorry for the last night. It won’t happen again. Look, I’ve got you some flowers”.

The moment she heard these words she got infuriated at him. She said, “You’ve never given me any flowers like this before . Why you’re giving me this now. Are you hiding something? Are you having affairs?” and started crying and moved all heavens and earth.

Dhanush was like , “Oh my God! I just bought flowers and now I’m a characterless man.”

Really no one can understand a woman!

Asperger's Syndrome (An extremely Shy Scientist)

Henery Cavendish the man who weighed the earth was suffering from Asperger's Syndrome which is an extreme case of shyness characterized by significant difficulties in social interaction and communication.

He is often described as afraid of strangers (especially of females), he mainly communicated with the female servants in his household through written notes.

One day he bumped into his female maid face to face on the staircase this disturbed him so much that he had an entire staircase built for his use only to avoid such encounters in future.

Strange Obsessions of Tesla

Nikola Tesla was one of the great unsung heroes of science. He arrived in America from Serbia in 1884 and quickly went to work for Thomas Edison, making key breakthroughs in radio, robotics and electricity, some of which Edison took credit for.

But Tesla wasn't just compulsive in his scientific quest. He probably had obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), refusing to touch anything even the slightest bit dirty, hair, pearl earrings or anything round. In addition, he became obsessed with the number 3, walking around a building three times before entering it. And at each meal, he would use exactly 18 napkins to polish the utensils until they sparkled.
