Aligned with the initiative of Central Board of Secondary Education, our school enthusiastically observed Jal Pakhwada – Catch the Rain Campaign 2026 to promote water conservation and environmental awareness. 🚰

Students actively participated in Painting, Quiz, Essay Writing, and Debate Competitions, creatively expressing their ideas on saving water and protecting our planet. 🌍💙

The activities aimed to instill a sense of responsibility, encourage sustainable practices, and inspire young minds to value every drop of water.

एस. आर. डीएवी.पब्लिक स्कूल, पुंदाग में धूम - धाम से महात्मा हंसराज जयंती मनाई गई।
इस अवसर पर सामूहिक वैदिक महाहवन का आयोजन किया गया,तत्पश्चात डीएवी.संस्था के संस्थापक महात्मा हंसराज को भाव - भीनी श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित की गई ।
इसके उपरांत पूर्व प्राथमिक कक्षा के विद्यार्थियों ने फैंसी ड्रेस प्रतियोगिता में भाग लिया।कक्षा तृतीय से पंचम तक के विद्यार्थियों ने आर्य समाज के नियम लेखन प्रतियोगिता में भाग लिया।कक्षा षष्ठ से अष्टम तक के विद्यार्थियों ने अंतरसदन प्रश्नोत्तरी प्रतियोगिता में भाग लिया ,जिसमें श्रद्धानंद तथा हंसराज सदन के विद्यार्थी प्रथम , दयानंद सदन के विद्यार्थी द्वितीय तथा विवेकानंद सदन के विद्यार्थी तृतीय स्थान पर रहे।
प्राचार्य डॉ तापस घोष ने विद्यार्थियों को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि महर्षि दयानंद के अनुयायियों में महात्मा हंसराज अद्वितीय थे।उन्होंने महर्षि दयानंद के आधुनिक भारत के निर्माण के सपने को साकार करने के लिए ही डीएवी.संस्था की स्थापना की।उन्होंने डीएवी. संस्था की सेवा अवैतनिक की। महात्मा हंसराज ने देश सेवा,परोपकार और जन कल्याण में अपना जीवन होम कर दिया ।हमें भी उनके जीवन से प्रेरणा लेनी चाहिए ।

Palak Kumari Becomes State Boxing Champion🥊🥊

Palak Kumari, a Class X student, won the Gold Medal in the Under-17 category at the State-Level Boxing Championship, bringing pride to the school. Competing among around 600 participants from across Jharkhand, she secured the top position with an outstanding performance.

The Principal, Dr. Tapas Ghosh, congratulated her and appreciated her consistent achievements at the national level as well.

When the heat rises, the true value of water is felt. The growing concern of water scarcity reminds us that every drop counts.

In alignment with CBSE’s Jal Pakhwada 2026 (16th April–30th April) under the ‘Jal Shakti Abhiyan: Catch the Rain’ campaign, a Water Pledge was administered during the morning assembly today.

Principal Dr. Tapas Ghosh inspired students with his words, urging them to be mindful in using water, to prevent wastage, and to become responsible guardians of our environment.

Let this not be just a pledge, but a promise we live by every day.

Outstanding Performance by the Students of S.R. DAV Public School, Pundag, Ranchi

In the Class X Board Examination conducted by CBSE, New Delhi, Mahi Shree secured an impressive 96.8% and achieved the distinction of being the school topper. Following closely, Adity Kumari scored 96.4%, Asifa Ahamed secured 96.2%, Apoorv Kumar Jha obtained 95%, and Krishna Sharma scored 94.8%, bringing great pride to the institution.

The school also proudly released the list of achievers for the 2026 examination, showcasing the commendable performance of numerous students who excelled with outstanding scores.

Continuing its tradition of academic excellence, the overall result remained 100%.
