Students of DAV Nandraj Modern School who secured national-level ranks in various Wiz International Spell Bee competitions, along with the participants of the Hindustan Olympiad, were felicitated by the newly appointed Principal of the school, Mrs. Neel Kamal Sinha, during the morning assembly today.

The students were awarded medals and certificates in recognition of their outstanding performances. Congratulating the achievers, Principal Mrs. Sinha applauded their dedication, hard work, and commitment to excellence.

Addressing the assembly, she also highlighted the significance of the Jagannath Rath Yatra, which will be celebrated tomorrow. She explained that Lord Jagannath comes out once every year to bless devotees who are unable to visit his temple. Drawing inspiration from this tradition, she emphasized that a teacher should always reach out to every student, especially those who may hesitate to express themselves or seek help. She encouraged teachers to ensure that every child feels valued, supported, and included.

The students of DAV Nandraj Modern School have once again brought pride to the school by securing impressive ranks in the Wiz International Spell Bee Competition – National Level Mega Final.

The students qualified for the Mega Final after successfully clearing the online preliminary round, in which they demonstrated their spelling proficiency by correctly spelling nearly 200 words.

The school's achievers are:

Shradha Bhattacharjee (Std. VII) – 37th Rank

Rishabh Mishra (Std. II) – 51st Rank

Rudraansh Ranjan (Std. VI) – 54th Rank

Vaibhav Shree Nishad (Std. III) – 61st Rank

DAV Nandraj Modern School celebrated International Yoga Day with great enthusiasm and zeal. Students and teachers participated wholeheartedly in the event organized on the school ground.

Under the guidance of Ms. Babita Kumari, the school's Yoga Instructor, students and teachers performed various yoga asanas, demonstrating flexibility, balance, and discipline. The school's yoga team also presented a graceful yoga dance set to soothing music, which captivated the audience.

The students showed remarkable enthusiasm for the celebration and were prepared for the event since early morning. Addressing the gathering, Mrs. Babita Kumari highlighted the importance of yoga in maintaining physical, mental, and emotional well-being. She also explained the benefits of different asanas and encouraged everyone to adopt yoga as a part of their daily routine.

The Principal, Mrs. Jhumpa Singh, motivated students, teachers, and parents to practice yoga and meditation regularly for a healthier and more balanced life.

The State Rank Holders and Participants of the Wiz International, Little Hands Kinder Olympiad, Writing Wizards, and Doodles Derby competitions were felicitated by the Principal, Mrs. Jhumpa Singh, during a special assembly held today in DAV Nandraj Modern School.

Mawiya Bin Arafat secured the 4th, Dimple Rani the 5th and Avyaan Ravi the 9th rank in State level Little Hands Kinder Olympiad whereas Komal Bharti secured 10th rank in Writing Wizards in State level and were honoured with trophies and certificates for their outstanding achievements.

The other participants were awarded with medals and certificates in recognition of their enthusiastic participation and commendable efforts.
