Azadi – Legacy of Sacrifice and Hope for the Future
The spirit of freedom filled the air at St. Xavier’s School, Rampura Phul, as the school celebrated India’s Independence Day with great pride, enthusiasm and patriotic fervour. The theme, “Azadi – Legacy of Sacrifice and Hope for the Future,” beautifully captured the essence of the occasion. Through inspiring patriotic songs, dances and cultural presentations, the students paid heartfelt tribute to the brave men and women who devoted their lives to the freedom of our nation. The school manager, Rev Father Andre Fernandes, along with the school Principal, Rev Father Jerry Paul Lobo and coordinators Mrs. Prem Lata and Ms. Anju Bala, appreciated the students for their remarkable performances and reminded that the Independence Day celebration at St. Xavier’s School was not just a commemoration of the past; it was a promise for the future. He also reminded students to remember the sacrifices of yesterday, value the freedom of today and build a brighter India for tomorrow.
