The creative brilliance and artistic talent of the students of St. Xavier’s School, Rampura Phul, came to the fore at the Inter-School Art & Craft Competition held at St. Joseph Convent School, Bathinda, where the young artists showcased their imagination, originality, and artistic finesse with remarkable success.
In the Bookmark Competition, Saransh of Class 8 Lily displayed exceptional creativity and craftsmanship, securing the First Position among the participating schools. His outstanding achievement was recognised with a trophy and certificate, marking a proud moment for the school.
Adding another glorious achievement to the school’s accomplishments, Himani Arora of Class 10 Lily participated in the Book Cover Competition and earned the Third Position. Due to her imaginative approach, she was felicitated with a shield and certificate for her commendable performance.
The impressive achievements of both students brought immense pride and joy to the entire St. Xavier’s family. Principal Rev. Father Jerry Paul Lobo, Manager Mr. Andre Fernandes, and Coordinators Mrs. Prem Lata and Ms. Anju Bala congratulated the young achievers and applauded the concerned teachers and the students for their dedication, creativity, perseverance, and passion for art.

The Dress Up Delight Competition for Class Nursery witnessed maximum participation, with students dressed creatively in a variety of interesting themes and characters. The students came well-prepared with creative and colourful props, adding charm and uniqueness to their presentations.

Each participant delivered their dialogue confidently, faced the stage with enthusiasm, and presented themselves beautifully. The students displayed remarkable confidence, creativity, expressions, and stage presence, making the competition lively and enjoyable.

The Dress Up Delight Competition for LKG was organised with great enthusiasm and excitement. The students came dressed beautifully in a wide variety of creative themes such as Save Water, Rangla Punjab, India, Doctor, Fire Fighter, ISRO, Astronaut, Solar System, and many more.

Each child confidently presented a short dialogue related to their chosen theme. The creative and colourful props, costumes, and accessories added charm and uniqueness to every presentation. The students displayed confidence, creativity, awareness, and enthusiasm while performing on stage.

The competition witnessed maximum participation, making it a truly vibrant and memorable event. The performances were so impressive and closely matched that it was a tough competition and quite difficult to judge the winners.

The School Management appreciated the sincere efforts of the parents in preparing their children creatively and helping them present their themes so beautifully. The dedication of the teachers and the enthusiastic participation of the young learners also contributed to the success of the event.

The Kindergarten of St. Xavier’s School organised a vibrant and enriching cultural exhibition, “Mini Punjab – A Cultural Journey,” on 26th August 2026. The exhibition was thoughtfully conceptualised to acquaint young learners with the rich cultural legacy, traditional lifestyle and vibrant heritage of Punjab, beautifully complemented by the colourful spirit of Saawan.

The celebration came alive as the young students adorned themselves in traditional Punjabi attire, with girls dressed as Punjaban and boys as Punjabi boys. A captivating glimpse of Punjab’s folk traditions was presented through Kikli, while the exhibition featured an array of traditional artefacts and aesthetically designed setups reflecting the simplicity and splendour of Punjabi life.

The exhibits included Jhulla, Charkha, Phulkari, Masala Grinder, decorated Thalis with Mehendi Cones and colourful bangles, Pankhiya, a Farmhouse Scene, Cart, Hut and Well, offering an authentic portrayal of Punjab’s customs, traditions and rural heritage.

Students from Nursery to Class II enthusiastically explored the exhibition, making the experience both interactive and experiential.

The occasion was graced by Chief Guest Rev. Fr. Eulalio Fernandes, Provincial Superior of Delhi Province (Punjab and Haryana), along with Principal Rev. Fr. Jerry Paul Lobo, Manager Rev. Fr. Andre Fernandes, Senior Coordinator Mrs. Premlata, and Kindergarten Coordinator Miss Anju Bala.

Rev. Fr. Eulalio Fernandes, along with the School Management, appreciated the sincere and commendable efforts of the parents, students and teachers in bringing the cultural panorama of Punjab to life with remarkable creativity and authenticity.

The exhibition was thoroughly enjoyed by the young learners, while parents enthusiastically captured memorable moments with their wards against the colourful traditional backdrops. “Mini Punjab – A Cultural Journey” thus emerged as a delightful confluence of culture, creativity, learning and celebration, nurturing cultural awareness and leaving the young learners with cherished memories of Punjab’s vibrant heritage.

The Solo Dance Competition for UKG was held on 31st August 2026 with great enthusiasm and excitement. The students participated with confidence and dressed beautifully according to their selected songs. Each participant performed energetically to the rhythm of the music, displaying well-coordinated movements, expressive facial expressions, and impressive stage presence.

The use of different colourful and creative props added charm and variety to the performances. The children showcased their talent, confidence, creativity, and enthusiasm throughout the competition.

St. Xavier’s School, Rampura Phul, had the privilege of welcoming Rev. Fr. Eulalio Fernandes, Provincial Superior of the Delhi Province (Punjab and Haryana), on his Canonical Visit. A special assembly was organised to extend a gracious welcome and acknowledge his presence. Addressing the students, teachers, and supporting staff separately, Rev. Fr. Eulalio Fernandes shared words of wisdom, inspiration, and pastoral guidance.

In his address to the teachers, he emphasised the profound responsibility of educators in shaping young minds, reminding them that school is the second home and an extended family where students spend a significant part of their formative years. He urged teachers to nurture students with compassion, and consciously imbue them with strong moral values, ethics, and character—qualities that enable them to emerge as responsible individuals and distinguished members of society.

Encouraging teachers to remain 10X ahead through continuous learning and skill enhancement, he highlighted the importance of the Triple Cs —Collaboration, Coordination, and Cooperation. His insightful interaction left the Xavierite family enriched, motivated, and reaffirmed in its commitment to education with excellence, values, and purpose.

The Hindi Poem Recitation Competition for the students of UKG was held on 18th August 2026 with great enthusiasm and participation. The young learners came up with beautiful and meaningful poems based on themes such as Time, Good Habits, My Country – My Pride, Butterfly, and many more.

The activity provided students with a wonderful opportunity to express themselves, develop confidence, overcome stage fear, and enhance their speaking and presentation skills. The participants presented their poems with enthusiasm, courage and confidence, making the event lively and enjoyable.

St. Xavier’s Kindergarten, Rampura Phul, organised a special presentation on 14th August 2026 for the Nursery students based on the theme of Independence Day. The little ones came dressed as freedom fighters and famous personalities, beautifully portraying their chosen characters.

The presentation provided the children with a wonderful opportunity to introduce themselves, speak confidently and showcase their learning on stage. It helped them develop confidence, overcome stage fear and express themselves freely.
