A Heartfelt Godspeed: Class XII Blessing Ceremony at OP Jindal School! 🕯️🎓
Today was a day of warmth and nostalgia as our Class XI students organized a beautiful Blessing Ceremony for their seniors. The event began with the serene lighting of the lamp, followed by a soulful song and a vibrant dance performance that took everyone down memory lane, reminding the Batch of 2026 of their fun-filled classroom days and notorious school moments.
The celebration continued with high-energy games like Guess the Teacher, Musical Chairs and many more bringing laughter to their faces before transitioning into a touching session where Class XII students shared their most cherished memories. Coordinator, Jyoti Ma'am, offered heartfelt words, reassuring the students that the school and their teachers would always be their guiding light.
Honourable Principal Sir blessed the outgoing batch for their upcoming exams and future journeys, while also applauding Class XI for their wonderful efforts in hosting such a memorable event. It was a perfect farewell filled with blessings, laughter, and a few bittersweet tears.

Closing the care gap: Observing World Cancer Day at OP Jindal School.
Today, our school community stood together to observe World Cancer Day, with dedicated special assemblies held across both the Primary and Senior wings. The morning was focused on a single, vital mission: spreading Cancer awareness. The assembly resonated with thought-provoking reflections and powerful speeches that shed light on the importance of early detection and prevention. To ensure the message truly hit home, an interactive awareness quiz was conducted. Adding another perspective to it , Ms. Deepika Kumari delivered an insightful Teacher's Talk, emphasizing how awareness is our strongest weapon in this global fight.
The highlight of the session was an enlightening address by our Honourable Principal Sir, who guided the students on the vital role of the "Body Clock." He spoke eloquently about the power of healthy habits, reminding everyone about the importance of maintaining a disciplined lifestyle and listening to our body’s natural rhythms.
It was a day of meaningful learning, reminding our young Jindalites that through awareness and healthy choices, we can all contribute to a cancer-free future!

Celebrating Excellence: A Morning of Medals and Milestones!
The energy was palpable during today’s special assembly as we gathered to honour the incredible talent and sportsmanship displayed across our recent Inter-House competitions.
The ceremony recognized a diverse range of achievements, starting with the thumping spirit of our athletes on the field. Recognition was given to our powerhouse teams in Cricket (Classes VI–XII), alongside the agile performers of Basketball and Volleyball across both VI-VIII and IX-XII categories. The celebration of talent moved from the court to the stage, as we honoured the brilliant performers of the English Skit (Classes IX–XII) and Rangoli Making (VI- XII) competition.
Congratulations to all the winners and participants! Your dedication not only brings glory to your respective Houses but also serves as an inspiration to the entire school community to continue pursuing excellence in every field.

The 77th Republic Day celebrations at OP Jindal School, Patratu, commenced with a profound sense of national duty as the Chief Guest, Mr. K.B. Singh Ji (Plant Head, Jindal Steel Patratu), performed the ceremonial Flag Unfurling. This was followed by a stirrring rendition of the National Anthem by the students of OPJS, setting a solemn tone for the Parade and Guard of Honour by the contingent of Security Personnels. A pivotal moment of the morning was the reading of the Republic Day Message from Hon'ble Chairman Shri Naveen Jindal Ji; delivered by Plant Head sir, the message served as an inspiring call to the "Jindalite" family to contribute meaningfully to the nation's progress. The formal proceedings also featured Gift and Appreciation Letter distribution by the Chief Guest.

​The celebration then transitioned into a vibrant showcase of talent and physical fortitude, beginning with a soulful Patriotic Song. This was followed by a spectacular Mass Drill, which uniquely integrated complex Yoga Postures, demonstrating the students' physical agility and mental focus—a true testament to the holistic education provided at OPJS. The event reached its emotional and patriotic peak as it concluded with the National Song, leaving the gathered students, parents, and Jindal Steel officials with a renewed spirit of service to the country.

A Celebration of Rights and Knowledge: Honouring Our Future and Our Voice! 🇮🇳📚
Today, our special morning assembly was a powerful blend of three significant occasions: National Girl Child Day, International Day of Education, and a preponed celebration of National Voter’s Day.
The program began with inspiring thoughts and speeches highlighting the importance of empowering the girl child and the transformative power of education. To spark curiosity, students engaged in a lively GK round centered on these global themes. Adding depth to the assembly, Mr. Vijay Kumar Mahto Sir delivered an insightful Teacher's Talk, emphasizing the significance of our voting rights and our responsibility as future citizens.
The intellectual highlight of the day was the USO Constitution Awareness Week Quiz, meticulously organized by Mr. Sujit Singh Sir. A total of 240 enthusiastic students participated, showcasing their knowledge of the Indian Constitution and the democratic values that bind our nation together.
It was a meaningful day dedicated to learning, awareness, and the celebration of the rights that shape our identity!

Celebrating Patriotism, Culture, and Social Commitments.

O.P. Jindal School, Balkudra fraternity came together to celebrate and observe the Flag Day, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Jayanti, Saraswati Puja, and the pledge for a Child Marriage Free Jharkhand.

The special assembly began with tributes to the National Flag and Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. Students presented motivational quotes, speeches, and fact files highlighting the values of patriotism, courage, and respect for the Tricolour.

A street play on child marriage sensitively portrayed social challenges and emphasized the need to protect children’s rights and dreams. This programme was one in the sequence of 100 days of the "Child Marriage Free Nation" campaign started by the Govt. of India

Addressing the gathering, Honourable Principal Sir stated that a true “Jindalite” honours heritage, values, culture, and works for social change. He urged students to uphold social freedom by ensuring education for every child instead of early marriage.

The celebration reinforced that education builds character and inspires responsibility towards society.
