Reejuta Mahajan Urges Students to Work Hard, Stay Away from Drugs and Use Social Media Responsibly at Farewell Function in Ramban Public High School
Ramban, Sep 19: Ramban Public High School on Saturday organised a farewell function for its Class 10 students, with Tehsildar Headquarters to the Deputy Commissioner, Ramban,Reejuta Mahajan urging students to focus on education, stay away from drugs and use social media responsibly.
Reejuta Mahajan was the chief guest at the function, while Assistant Director Planning, CEO Office Ramban, Farooq Ahmed Rahi attended as the special guest. Gulzabir Daing, an educationist and UT president of NJCA and UT vice president of the Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Forum, was the guest of honour.
The programme featured cultural performances by students, showcasing their talent. The guests appreciated the students and the school administration for providing a platform for young talent.
Addressing the gathering, Rahi encouraged students, parents and teachers to work with dedication and sincerity for a bright future. Daing also urged the students to pursue their goals with discipline, determination and hard work.
Reejuta Mahajan shared experiences from her student life and advised the students to remain focused on their studies and future goals. She urged them to stay away from drugs and other harmful habits and contribute towards the vision of a "Nasha Mukt Bharat".
She also advised students to avoid unnecessary use of social media and mobile phones and instead use technology for education, learning and other productive purposes. Mahajan appreciated the students' cultural talent and said Ramban district has earned recognition for its vibrant cultural activities.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Daing, who expressed gratitude to the guests, school administration, teachers, parents and students for making the event successful.
