Prompt & Play: Designing the Future with AI
Chitkara Design School successfully organised Prompt & Play: The AI Workshop – Designing the Future with Intelligence, a two-day immersive learning experience led by industry expert Shahid SK, Ai Content Creator. Sculpting Style: Draping Beyond the Ordinary
The Department of Fashion Design, Chitkara Design School, recently hosted an immersive draping workshop led by the visionary designer Abhishek Ray, offering students a hands-on exploration into the art of couture creation.
From understanding the nuances of fall and structure to mastering intricate pleats and silhouettes, students meticulously refined every detail pin by pin, fold by fold. The session emphasized the importance of patience, craftsmanship, and a keen eye, allowing students to witness how subtle manipulations can dramatically transform a garment.

The Department of Visual Communication, Chitkara Design School, proudly showcased a compelling student exhibition in the Photography Studio, featuring the exploratory and process-driven work of 4th semester students. Bringing together outcomes from the Cyanotype Workshop, Zine Design Workshop, and Emerging Technologies AI course, the exhibition reflected a dynamic interplay between analog techniques and digital innovation.
From the rich, textured blue prints of cyanotype experiments to the deeply personal and visually engaging zines, students demonstrated a strong command over composition, storytelling, and material exploration. The exhibition further pushed creative boundaries with AI-generated comic books, where students reimagined visual storytelling through prompt-based design, character development, and iterative workflows.
