Blooming of Bud
A cute little bud named “Little Star Play House” started blooming on June 15, 1992 with bunch of 10 little kids in cosy homely environment at residence of The Principal of playhouse Dr. Mrs. Since then, playhouse has been growing year by year by leaps & bounds. This growth has only been possible with continues support from parents of kids & well trained staff. Most noticeable quality of all staff members of Little Star Play House is that they all are capable of developing personalised rapport with each & every child of play house. Major jump of play house was in year 2006 when with the demand of requirement and growth play house was shifted to spacious premises with 7 separate class rooms of which 5 were allotted for playhouse kids and 2 classrooms for nursery students. It has been proved by experts that major brain development of a child is during first 5 years of his life and we as little star family are proud that we have played major role in life path development of around 4500-5000 students who are now excelling in various field like medicine, engineering, management etc. Our greatest happiness is that many of our students are now married and their kids too are students of our play house. Little star play house is headed by Dr. Mrs. Hita Mehta who has experience of more than 25 years in education field. She had started her career as school teacher in field of education and she is now being responsible for base of careers path of more than 300 students every years. She has excellently transferred her teaching skill as well as skill of handling children to all her staff members. Hita Mehta has contributed to Gujarati literature by publishing collection of poems for children namely “Ame Bala Raja Re….”. Her short stories are also being published in popular magazines like Chitralekha, Abhiyan, Mumbai Samachar, Akhand Anand etc. Activities
We at Little star focus on all round development of a child. To be begin with, we celebrate each and every festival so that our children understand importance of Indian cultural values. Especially festivals like Janmashtami, navratri and Christmas are celebrated in unique way. Most prestigious event of the year for the play house is Annual function of play house presented at Hemu Gadhvi hall every year by the students of Nursary class. Little children perform on stage in front of audience of 800-1000 parents which helps them in overcoming stage fear and build confidence. Besides these celebrations we also focus on other activities like drawing, colouring, dancing, story telling etc. Goal
