Every year World Stroke Day is celebrated on October 29th to emphasize the serious nature and high rates of stroke. Worldwide, brain stroke is the second leading cause of death and third leading cause of disability. This year, 2023, the World Stroke Day Theme is “Together we are Greater Than Stroke.” The B.E.F.A.S.T. is an acronym developed for the general public to detect warning signs and initiate response to a possible stroke by getting treatment on time for stroke. A camp was conducted by Harivandana Physiotherapy College at Sri Sri academy on 4th August 2023 where 350 students  were assessed for physical fitness. Students of final year actively participated in the event.
