Saumya Raizada of the batch of 2019, born in Jabalpur and currently living in Raipur spends most of her time reading books, writing and promoting her Wordpress page. She doesn't understand people's addiction to sitcoms and doesn't really care much about them. She was once a national level Table Tennis player and continues to search for people in her hostel to play the sport with her.
At HNLU she spends most of her time in her friends' room dancing/singing/dubsmashing or in her room writing or reading. Unlike other localites she doesn't go back to her home much and can be found loitering in the campus even on weekends.
According to her, these are the reasons she fell in love with HNLU-
1. The beautiful campus that has so much life to offer.There's always something or the other going on in the campus which she absolutely loves.
2. Seperate rooms which give you enough privacy
3. HNLU doesn't restrict your options and if you feel you don't belong to debating/quizzing/mooting you can always start your own club and get to interact with more people like you.
" Whenever I feel I've had enough of people I can always take my headphones and go sit, sing my favourite songs, look at the sky be at peace and feel solitude as I spend my evenings in the cricket ground. "
She looks forward to seeing new faces at HNLU!

81 people opted for placement this year out of which, 64 job offers were received and 58 of those offers accepted! The upward trend in our placements and prospects continue once more! The rest of the batch who did not opt for placements are pursuing foreign LLMs/litigation/taking the civil service and judiciary examinations. To top it all off 4 of our former students have been selected to pursue their LLMs at the prestigious Harvard Law School. All in all, a good time to join HNLU! ;)
